Santa Cruz isn't that far from SVGL, and isn't even that far from my house or SFSU nearby, which also has a BB cabinet.

Yeah, SVGL is pretty feasible on occasion - I work in the cupertino area, so that's easy enough when I'm not carpooled. SFSU, not...quite so much.

I'm just getting into the scene (I'm pretty terrible), but I want to get better. Does RGL have a BB cab? Do people play there? I haven't been there in ages; if they have a BB cab I might start going on unlimited Saturdays again. Is there anywhere else people play near Roseville?

you can check, but i doubt there's a cab or a scene there. davis is your best bet if you're in upper-norcal.

qwerty is correct. There's no BB scene here in Sacramento. Davis is your best bet.

RGL has no good fighting game cabs what so ever. T5BR is broken, the SNK cab is broken, and the SCII cab is broken. The Ultracade with SFII is the only decent one working.

In a matter of fact, almost half of the arcade cabs are either really crappy, broken, or games that don't interest the hardcore arcade-enthusiasts in RGL.

DJ Max Technika broke, and they are not going to fix it, and Beatmania IIDX : Distorted is out-dated.

I am sorry. I really want to rage about how I dislike the owner. I work at RGL as a lifeguard and the owner of the whole park does nothing to improve the park in general.

If he at least improve the arcades and have dedicated players that can go to the arcades on a regular basis, maybe they won't have to use the money that they gained from the summer season.

What's the scene in Davis like? My sister lives there, so I actually go down fairly often. Is there an arcade there, or is it mostly people meeting up and playing at people's houses? I'm new to this, so I don't really know how things go down. I do own the PS3 version of CS and an HRAP3 if that matters.
