Is there a way to buy Japanese games on a US account on PSN or do you need to just make a Japanese account for it? I don't have any copy of AC+ on modern console yet so I could buy it, but I'd rather wait and keep everything together on my US account if I can.

you need to make a Japanese PSN which is very easy, tons of guides if you just google it.

the hard / expensive part is getting funds into your jp psn account. if you dont have a hook up, you gotta go through middle parties like play asia or etc who mark up the shit out of the psn $/yen cards.
