I'd rather do an early session this Friday. I open on Saturday, so I'm willing to sit in that terrible traffic to get there around 6-7 and leave around 10-11.

What do you guys play then. GG?

The majority of us here only take gg seriously but there are some who also play Persona (like Coma, Eli, etc).

Xanadu is Marvel and AE central though.

I'd rather play on Sundays. Mondays are working / schooling days. $<

Yeah Matt, Rei, and I are going to Pennsylvania to play this weekend so we won't be at Xanadu this Friday ;_;, Hopefully we can have sessions on other Fridays though.

Pretty much just GG. I've brought BB CS Extend over a few times, but only had like, two other people play it with me. I must be the only one here who still plays it at least semi-regularly (GG is still one of my main games).

I used to come up to Xan most Fridays I can get off from work, but most of y'all don't even show up until a couple of hours before I leave, I reckon. And I get there really early too.

You should be able to look up the exam schedule already but when I was going to school NEC weekend was ALWAYS before a final (like the Monday after I had an exam).

I'll probably have a few Fridays off, so I gotta start coming up to Xanadu again. Haven't been up there since the cookout.

Pat are peeps still bringing AC+ or are we fully transitioning to +R? Sucks for us Xbox 360 players, I know.

Was messing with Ky in training mode for his 3HS.... its good and bad once you learn slashback on 2nd hit. But if you manage to get knockdown and throw and early 3HS the last hit is incredibly good, can't slash back it and hella hard to reversal and is hella frame advantage with good gaurd gauge build. Steve H should spam this on every knockdown.

Everyone should actually learn to slashback this move on 2nd hit. hella easy with potential good damage output.

Also tested cancelling out the first hit into stun edge or stun dipper and both times are the same slashback for last hit of 3HS. So basically all you have to do is crouch block and slash back as you would and it will take care of those 3 possible situations except for 214K. But you should be able to react accordingly since there is more start up to overhead.

What punish are you getting on SB? I've tried 5F, 4F, and 3F punishes and none of them worked. It seems neutral on SB. Still is useful to SB it at max range to keep him from running back in.

To go off on a tangent, at first I hated the changes to Millia in this game but her buffs are great. New K pin is gdlk since it stops millia's vertical momentum so TK K pin is a legitimate pressure tool and it's a way to combo off her j.K>j.K fuzzy guard without a disc out.

The increased untech time helps with meaty secret garden setups which has always been her best oki tool, even after FB disc. And while jump dust is worse in neutral, it's great in combos which are more universal now because of j.2H.

Yo Matt, I punish with Anji 5k (5F ) but one thing is you need to input the punish immediately, should work but give it another shot in training. Millia has greaaat buffs and her mixups are so much stronger now.

I can't get a punish on it at all. Frame data says that the 2nd hit of Ky's 3H is 1 active frame and the entire move is only 3 recovery frames so even if you could act immediately out of a SB, a 5F normal wouldn't be able to punish him. Best I can get is a throw if he's close but he can just jump cancel the second hit.

Yeah Kenji, Millia really shines in the oki and mixup department in this game. Her neutral got worse but her confirms off stray hits got a lot better, especially on the ground.

hrmm interesting, I will hit up training mode again tonight to test some more things out. Also it's JCable????? Goodness....didn't consider trying to JC 3HS during training, well back to the lab.

Yeah Millia's oki really does shine pretty good! There is a good Millia player down here and got a good idea of her new mixups and they are much harder to avoid/block.

Matt you're right about the 3HS, I was messing with some pressure strings with Ky and I guess he can make it safe with 3hs (1st hit ) jc > air S stunedge FRC > IAD etc.
