Rift Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Not so great. Still fun, but not a single matchup in his favor.
RedBeard Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 That may not be true anymore. The initial list put Anji as dead bottom(for the time, it made sense). Anji is definitely not the worst in the game at this point. That tier list can't really be used for argument at this point, though it is still fairly accurateish.
PuLsE Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 terribly sorry, i wasnt sure if this was the right place to ask. but regarding the jackhound training you (crazydazed) were talking about where you do 2D jackhound You will want the dummy to never recover from that simple looking two hits combo. If the dummy recovers, there might be three reasons for it: 1) Dummy is too light; 2) Doing Jackhound too fast, improper timingwhat is the ideal character weight to practice this on for beginners? to be more specific which character exactly is the best choice to start training with this on?
4r5 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Not sure if CrazyDazed comes around any more. Back when I practiced this, I used Axl. His combination of weight and hitbox forced you to be fast, while not being so unusual that you couldn't follow up with the standard combo. And just to double check, are you playing Slash or Accent Core?
PuLsE Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 im playing slash. i dont want to touch accent core YET coz im trying to strengthen my fundamentals with Johnny. i swore to myself that i would complete the DB combo before i shift to AC. Its a pride, ill switch eventually:cool:
Rift Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I wouldnt bother with the DB if you're going to switch to AC anyways. I would spend that time practicing AC Johnny's KJFRC combos instead.
4r5 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Bumping this to protect it from the auto-pruning. Though I'm not sure anyone really cares, since it's not about AC or #r. But there might still be a useful bit.
4r5 Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 gonna bump these, in case the auto-purge tries to eat them up
