We watched Daigo shit all over Mago's tertiary (if that) character. Then we watched Mago's Fei Long get sonned by his worst match up and that's the Canada Cup. Mago and Daigo probably split the pot. Or maybe Mago knew that if he went with Sagat, Daigo would just go back to Ryu and wreck him. Sagat doesn't do very well against Ryu anymore.

So yeah how did they pull off an awesome tourney in calgary and T tourneys are always hosted in shitholes compared to these venues.

honestly, canada cup needed WAY more east coast representation. having just two players from the east was not a good representation of the strongest players from canada. with more TO/GTA/MTLSF guys, the competition would have been a lot fiercer and a lot more hype.

commentary like: "i wonder who js had to play to get that good" annoys the shit out of me.

regardless, good fucking shit js master. and no hate on lapchi and calgary really for making the tourney happen, top 8 got really hype.
