Brice Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 yeah it's not that bad, we found what we were looking for :3 oh and GG feels godlike on an arcade :P i need one of those in my basement... i wonder how much a GG AC board costs.... it would have been nice to talk to you guys about mat 8 and stuff... like what you plan on bringing, how long will you stay, what kind of tourney you'd like after the BB and GG singles and stuff like that, because the first day is the day for BB GG singles and the sunday it's supposed to be top 8 at marvel or something but we kinda have nothing planned (read as we can play/tourney/money match as we please), and if you're up to go see places in mtl after the tourney. the only thing i don't really know is that we'll have at most 4 ps2 sticks for GG... it would be cool if we could have more than 2 stations for stick players against stick players since more than half our community is a pad warrior...
kousaka Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 a GGAC board is pretty cheap used, 5-6 hundred we don't plan to stay that long on sunday and we're driving in saturday morning.. soo hopefully everything can finish on saturday night.. we party it up then we get our rest and drive home sunday.. as for ps2 sticks or any other gear let me know and i'll see what I can arrange to bring in.. as long as we have room for it in the mini van

XDest Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 yeah sorry brice, i heard from goth1ka that you guys dropped by.. we arrived at AN kinda late at around 11 and then got stuck waiting in the registration lines.. by the time we got to the gaming area the 1st round had already finished.. most of us ended up joining the tourney with all the people that dropped out in the losers bracket but we'll see you at MAT8.. we rented a mini van and 7 of us are going to drive up (leo, zeero, k2, tim, diobrando, sapphire, and I) How much would it cost for me to tag along too?

XDest - Our van is full, we'd have to split into two cars if more people are joining. The tourney is this weekend and I think it's a little late to change plans. Unsanc - I'm not even gonna bother playing that video, you know that right? lol From what I remember of AN, each year it seems to be disorganized so I'm not surprised people got screwed. So what were the real results?

MTL offered to house some of us (although in the end, we're just gonna hotel), so if you want to go maybe you can ask them how they're going/get housed by MTL? but between the guys i'm going with, we're full. sry

Mike, Alex and I had some issues and technical difficulties like at any tournament but we barely pulled through the weekend alive. We were running four stations, but we didn't have a megaphone so i almost lost my voice again. Because it's a free tournament we had too many players not showing and a lot of them had to be disqualified. I'll be post the match vids soon.

Mine is already paid for, I can probably get Cranky to switch it over to somebody else's name. Saves ya a few bucks I guess. You'd have to give PochP the money in MTL, not me. It's 25$.
