When I learn to play stick you'll all... probably still body me. Quick question on that topic, actually: what's a good stick for console with the same gate as the ones at Gety (are they square? I was @&%$ing up 4 and 6 inputs all night, getting diagonals; surely they're square)?

What I recommend, if you want to minimize required modding, is to get a QANBA stick. I have one that's compatible with PS3 and PC (the triple modded ones were out of stock at the time and there was only ONE LEFT for the kind that I got so I jumped at the opportunity) and I haven't needed to open it up once. It has Sanwa stick and buttons.

Strict start times - today we ran into stick problems and end up starting at 7, so that was really bad. Any tourneys at gety needs to start at 5-5:30, never later 2. Restrict entrants - 19 people today, no way shits gonna go down especially at 7, need to restrict to anywhere from 12 (top 4 gets byes) to 16... although i'd say the less the better 3. Rape face - if you are blocking, you are disqualified. It is in best interest to get things done as soon as possible. In general, I feel that tourneys are gety are ones that cant be too big, i'd even say run single elim. We cant really do a big tourney given 1 station and gety's opening hours. Gety tourneys should be super restricted. I dont want to go there and sit for 3 hours to wait for my game (which is what i end up doing anyway for casuals, but i always play) If you want a real double elim tourney with 16+ people, u need multiple stations, else shit will never finish. K2: we're not leaving gety for console, gety is always a better place to meet up for casuals, but for a tournament, unless we wanna sit in there to play 3 games over the course of 5 hours, its just not a good idea. agree, from now on , all tournament should be set up like this should we really restrict entries? one hand we want to attract more players and the other hand we are trying to cap entries. we can always do pre-reg and see how many players we will have. #1 12 or less = ranbat 1t3 at gety more then 12~16 we do #2 #2 single elim 1t3 jpn style top 4 gets byes 12~16 sounds good? for real dbl 16+ elim tournament we will do #3 #3 real dbl elim tournament at K2's place a) party room can fit 80ppl, 80 entries o_O, everyone pays $5 entry + venue fee if you guys want to have food, i can always add couple dollars on everyone's venue fee, and i will go order pizza , or fried noodle/rice sushi tray or wtever. but ppl can only eat in the kitchen, no bringing food to station to avoid mess. sounds good?

Actually it was kind of the opposite because the lack of a tournament meant I probably played more than I would have otherwise. On that note, ggs everyone. gg to fugo for playing litchi mb style I have no idea what this means.

That way people like me or Cambridge who don't come as often aren't sitting there waiting for everyone to play out their games and waiting even more than usual to get games in =P
