Ted, you cannot control an entire horizontal plane, have huge hitboxes on normals that last for days, access to an array of status affects that range from annoying to crippling, big damage, and not expect to have to compensate for that in other areas. Liz is fine. She's not top, but she's not awful by any means. Having a bad matchup or two doesn't make her terrible when you consider the uphill battle that some characters have against her. I'm with Justin in that I don't see any characters being bad or particularly weak in this game; the overall balance in this game is really well done on the whole, with only a few outliers on top that raise an eyebrow, but haven't proven to be completely out of control.

Man, Bonds' Naoto is really good. I managed to take a few matches from him, even though most of the time it went 6 - 0. He really taught me that Yosuke vs Naoto match-up is super gay. I need to end all my air combos with Garudyne, or else he can lay a shit load of traps while he's in the air. Sure, I can just run away to the other side, but if he does end up on the opposite side of me, I'll have to deal with all those hidden traps while getting zoned out.

Aside from Naoto, Bond really helped me with my options, I kept learning new things while playing him.

Good! Those are the best people to play. The ones that keep you constantly learning and evolving your game. I'm sure you learned a lot. He seemed very impressive when I saw him.

That's good Chris. I can see that Yosuke's lack of oki can prove to be a big weakness in keeping Naoto in check. I hope to play you guys soon so I learn actual matchups and not just play Theory Fighter and sit in Training mode all the time.

I don't mind if a few people come over today, just keep in mind, I have 2 set ups MAX and that's if someone brings a ps3 copy of the game and their sticks. Also keep in mind it's not an all night kind of affair, but I'm totally fine with a few people heading over from around 5-11pm. especially if you want to hang out and get a few games in.

I have a 360 as well if it's easier for someone to get sticks and a copy of the game for that. I'm sure Lema will appreciate having the PS3 for netflix lol
