Isn't Homing Cancel one of (if not THE) things that make AH unique? Can't imagine a world where I have to Street Fighter my way in with Fiona. Heck, aside from maybe what epikku said about Critical Hearts, I can't really think of anything to change. Sure, I'd like to be able to hit Sacred Punish/Slayer a bit more, but I don't want to lose the insane damage you get when you DO hit that sweet spot. Akane and Saki, sure. When it comes down to it, when I try to get people to play AH for the first time, I like being able to say, "it's a lot more balanced/fair than other fighting games. Every character is viable...(aside from Night of Fire Elsa)" and it's still fun to play. That's probably the thing I wouldn't want to lose.

I think one of the combos is slightly off 3C > 236[A] > 5A > 5B > 5C > 3C > 236[A] > 6B > 5C > 3C > 236[A] > 5C > 2C > 6C > j.2C > j.2D |> j.C > j.214A oki which should probably be: 3C > 236[A] > delay 5A > 5B > 5C > 3C > 236[A] > 6B > 5C > 3C(1) > 236[A] > 5C > 2C > 6C > j.2C > j.3D |> j.C > j.214A oki That also said, is there a reason combos don't include the (1)? Mainly for 3C, like above, since combos change/drop drastically . I know we'd all figure it out eventually, but just for convenience. For added lolz, you can loop it for corner starting midscreen, whereas the above combo works slightly further in. 3C > 236[A] > 5A > 5B > 5C > 3C > 236[A] > 6B > 5C > 3C(1) > 236[A] > 6B > 5C > 3C(1) > 236[A] ... You can do one more but they can tech immediately after 236A touches them.

I've been on the Ouka train since my first time trying this (bit of Saya, some Mora, trying Ethica), but looking at the vids, I take it she's not the popular choice?

This game is fun, but the rooms disbanding is going to be the death of me... and yesterday it was PSN constantly signing me out.

Has anything changed with Makoto's matchups? Are they minimal changes or "too grandiose to even bother playing this character?" I've heard Jin is hell to deal with, but Kagura is "what do?" for me.

How do you catch high mobility characters, especially the airborne ones? (Tao, Izayoi, etc) 6A only goes so far T___T

Sure enough, soon as I ask for advice against him, I never encounter him again. Maybe this "ask-and-never-see-again" tactic will work for Linne, lol. But the advice is much appreciated. I've always liked to be defensive on my openings and considering he can pretty much hit you right at the start... FUN! ... but really. Best advice against Linne (if any). I know she's a difficult/annoying matchup and I keep running into all the 1M RP Linnes for some reason. Ranked AND Player matches.
