The rumors are true; I've been hosting MB and other random animu fighters -- mainly Arcana Heart and now P4A (don't ask how VF got into the rotation -- but do ask if you want to learn more! ). So anyone who is not descending into GW2 madness can some on by; maybe I'll even bother to get my stream working. Sessions here are usually Sunday eveningish, people arriving at 6ish and staying until Tempered and I throw everyone out. It's usually Tempered throwing everyone out, as I'm an old fart who needs to go to bed early so I can wake up for early bird specials. Wait until I have plastic upholstery on everything!) My place is in southwest Mesa, right near Golfland -- anyone who needs the exact address can PM me or someone like Ryd or Tempered for it.

Chumaralupa Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 Ok guys, I wanna hear from everybody on this, we're now thinking about having the P4A ranbats at UAT on the same days at the Hazbats for many reasons, some of the plus reasons being that there won't be a venue fee and it's closer to a lot of people AND we won't be cramped with all the players from other games. Apparently there were about 40 players at Keith's tourney, and I know a lot of you here weren't able to make it, so that's pretty impressive and I'm excited to meet and play them. Now assuming we can get UAT (work in progress) we wanna know what people would prefer as far as entry fee, now apparently we can get some prize sponsorship for season top 3 to make it worth the while for those who are aiming for the top, but in an effort to get as good as a turnout as Keith's tournament did we were considering lowering the entry fee to 3 or maybe even 1 dollar per person, you can do the math for a 70/20/10 or 60/25/15 split (still being decided) but it's definitely a lot less for each player in top 3 per night. Anyways, I want to know who wants big money over who wants to try to make the ranbats more accessible to newcomers who don't want to bet 5 dollars on their skills. Set-ups won't be a big issue but help will be appreciated, and there will be streaming/recording (I emphasize the recording part) Let me know what ya'll think, thanks.
