Wild Wallice Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I actually can't make it this Friday. I'm driving a friend to a test he has to take to get in to graduate school. I won't be in San Diego until that Sunday. Haki, I include Friday as part of the weekend. Specifically I'm usually not available on Saturdays since I'm usually up north to go to arcades or, more recently, Xie's Danisen. If for some reason people wanted to do it Sunday night I could be there for that. Also, regarding other people hosting like we talked about last time, I could do it, you'd just need to give me a date so I can make sure my place will pass the health inspectors. But I for sure definitely wouldn't be able to do it during midterms or finals week, and I probably won't show up no matter who is hosting during those times either.

hakimiru Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Out of curiosity, since 2 of you are still students... what is the possiblity of being able to use one of the school facilities? I know back when I was in school, some of the dorms had pretty nice lounges on the first floor with TV's that you could set up at. Would something like that potentially work if no one can host?

If it's a dorms thing I won't be able to do anything like that, since I live off campus, but there may be a space we can use somewhere. XD I think repeated jumping overheads has been something I've always had problems with since back when I played MB. It probably doesn't help that 6A hitbox is tiny so timing is hard... I'll stop putting it off and go figure out how to do some of those things I have queued up for learning one of these days... Until then, Steins;Gate =3=

Trying to figure out if I'm doing anything on the sunday that the danisen thing is on because I'd like to go after reading up on it a little more.

Would be greatly appreciated Well, if me and Haki are going to have to drive up, we can probably get you too. We need to organize in the next few days what the plan is though. I can drive us up if necessary, but I have almost no experience in the LA area so one of you guys would have to navigate for me probably. Then we could just split the cost of gas or whatever. Let me know what you guys think.

I could drive as an option, but the legroom in the back of my car is a bit cramped, so it might be painful for some of you taller guys.

I don't think leg room would really be a problem unless we have a really tall person, but even then if they sit behind me they should have enough room because I'm pretty short and my seat's up most of the way Should be no problem, so if that's what we want to do that is okay with me.

I haven't done my grocery shopping for the week yet so I'll get some things when I go. As for meeting up, I was just assuming I would drive to your place, then either park my car there and get in yours or pick you up. I was thinking leave here around 11 or 12, since it's about a half hour to Poway and then another half hour from there to CSU San Marcos, then another hour and a half to Xie's according to google maps.
