We'll have to see which direction things go in on Tuesday but we should be getting a ton more exposure. Here's hoping we get a ton of new people out of it. Highlights: Tager mirrors (as always), beating Jin's D ice sword with sledge, random matches with Watermelonz, getting a new guy (Please come back, mysterious new guy) Thanks for the ride, Wallice! I'll see some of you on Tuesday.

Ichipoo Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Sorry I couldn't make it guys, the knob on one of my showers broke and so it had water gushing out so I was forced to shut off my water source, call my uncle to help me carve a hole in a wall to replace the pipes leading to the shower. Also had to spend $250 worth of parts which included new shower head. Maybe next time. Glad you guys were still able to play despite being double booked. Also, I'll see if I can get more people to join us as well.

I'll pack up my setup to bring on Tuesday, and hopefully PSN will update early enough that I can get Skullgirls downloaded before we have to leave. They seemed really interested in streaming day 1 skullgirls stuff, so I figure that's a good idea. Of course, BB is our main game, but I'm not sure what they wanted to do about that regarding streams. There was talk of a small tournament with commentary on the stream, but I don't think we can get 8 people out this Tuesday, so hopefully they meant another day for that one? also what time is the tuesday thing? I thought it was 8 but the box arena site says 6, and the fb event that roa made says 5 Edited April 8, 2012 by glod

MasterDana Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 I actually live in Clairemont and have been craving some BB + etc non-Capcom games for a long while, but no one seemed to play them down here. I'd be 100% willing to go to these sessions at Frubble on Friday, but the issue is the lack of a car (and that I'm a total noob). So if anyone's like, willing to grab me on the way to sessions, I'm totally willing to pitch in gas for a lift there and back if it's convenient for you. For the main Box Arena events I've been "meh", but for these eccentric fighting games I'm willing to (bashfully) make this request. I'd appreciate it if anyone could lend a hand! Thanks! I'm hoping this will be the event that wipes the dust off of my fight stick!

We get the spot next to the pinball machines that we occupied on Friday. 2. We were told to bring three stations, two for actual gameplay and one as backup. 3. It doesn't matter if we can get 8 people for a bracket or not. What he wants is a Grand Finals match on stream. 4. We need one person to commentate and talk about the Dustloop community on stream. I think we can all agree that Shtkn is best for this. 5. No arrival time is specified, but he said that he gets there anywhere from 6-7. So I say we come at the normal time, 7PM. I'm pretty excited.

Ichi: As long as your friends are interested in the game and want to try to improve/don't mind losing a bit at first, I'd say invite them along.
