tofurr Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 One of them actually likes Bang, so that would be perfect.
Skubator Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Awesome, did you bring a set-up to the last one? If you're willing to do it again, can you bring anotber? Still needing set-ups. D: Also, I got a couple of friends who aren't familiar with the game (but love other fighting games like SF4 and MvC) to come and play. They use to play whatever GG was on the Dreamcast, and they think BB looks interesting. They won't really know what to do, but atleast it's people. I can bring a PS3, but not a TV. So if you have an extra CRT around, I can hook mine up to that.
tofurr Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 I think that shouldn't be a problem. :3
Soniti Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Anyone willing to pick me up in Sacramento on the way to this? (I'll contribute gas $)
tofurr Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 That's out of the way, but if no one is willing to pick you up on their way, I can come out and get you. You'll have to be there early with me, if that's ok with you. Just let me know the night before.
BeaverDeity Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I don't think I can make it to this... Too far away lolz );
PhaethonH Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Perhaps a fine wind will gust up that day...
tofurr Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Alright, I've got two set-ups confirmed, myself and Skubator, and possibly Tone? Could use one more so things are guaranteed to run smoothly, so if anyone is willing to bring one, please do! See everyone tomorrow!
Spirit Juice Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Just remember that I-5 is not the way to Roseville if you're on I-80!
Soniti Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 If someone wants to bring a CRT or lagless monitor w/ an hdmi cable, I can bring my ps3.
Skubator Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Alright, I've got two set-ups confirmed, myself and Skubator, and possibly Tone? Could use one more so things are guaranteed to run smoothly, so if anyone is willing to bring one, please do! See everyone tomorrow! Remember that my setup is only confirmed if there is a CRT to attach it to. Also, I don't have Valk or Makoto.
PhaethonH Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Remember that my setup is only confirmed if there is a CRT to attach it to. Also, I don't have Valk or Makoto. Specifically a Cathode Ray Tube with its 20 thousand volt vacuum-spanning electric field, or will a 23-in HDMI/DVI widescreen LCD monitor do?
tofurr Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Eh, lack of DLC might be a problem. I'll bring my 360 and another TV (If I can find one), for back up, just in case. Edited February 19, 2011 by tofurr
tofurr Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Alright, I think I've got this taken care of. I'm bringing a PS3 w/DLC, a flatscreen, and a CRT. I have my friend bringing my 360 and a CRT just in case. Skubator, bring your set-up. Hopefully Tone is still coming. If DLC is an issue, I'll have a couple PSN network cards with me to download at the shop.
Mystic d Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Where's Dacid crew has to bail :[ many sorries (This is dacid)
Skubator Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Specifically a Cathode Ray Tube with its 20 thousand volt vacuum-spanning electric field, or will a 23-in HDMI/DVI widescreen LCD monitor do? Sorry, a flat screen would be fine too. I'll make sure I bring an HDMI cable.
PhaethonH Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Ah, a fine wind blows. *tumble*tumble*tumble*
Edalborez Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Bit late to say so but I won't be able to make it. Next time (hopefully?) for sure.
blk_mage Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Thing I had to do ended early. Debating if it'd be worth it to drive over an hour for this... and if i'd even make it on time...
tofurr Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) You made the right choice, sad turnout was sad. ;-; Results on front page. Did a round robin due to lack of people. Disappointed in the turnout but still had fun. Can't say I'll be trying to host anything anytime soon again in this area though. Shoutout to Soniti for winning and helping me organize and clean-up. Shoutout to Soniti's friend, who he kept calling Thomas but that wasn't his name (and I can't remember it, sorry D: ) for helping to clean-up and for coming out. Shoutout to my friends for coming out, and some of them for playing even though they've only played this game like 4 to 5 times. Shoutout to Fred for coming all the way out and playing. Your Carl's a beast. Shoutout to Skuba for bringing a set-up and coming out. Edited February 20, 2011 by tofurr
Soniti Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 His name was Jason. Thanks for the ride tofurr!
