Running Wild Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Anyone here every play this? IMO, this is among SNK's best fighting games, I'd even rate it higher than Garou:Mark Of The Wolves. It's playable on Supercade and ArcLive, and you can play it using a savestate trick on GGPO. If you're interested in more information on the game, a guide is being worked on at DreamCancel.com, but for now there is an old thread on SRK that contains alot of information on the game, along with this thread on DreamCancel. Every Saturday afternoon me and some of the users from DC and SRK get together for a RB2 session while we Skype, and it is streamed.
Arvoyea Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 bumping this thread. I'm playing this game also. I'm AM2 at Dream Cancel. this has a good easy-to-pick up combo system, and an awesome roster.
caiooa Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 (edited) I give it a try after seeing some videos, and it was really fun to play. The mechanics are a really different combination...feint cancels, chain combos in the same style as the last blade 2 speed groove, air turn arounds. And all this with some of the classic characters of fatal fury/garou densetsu. I should really have played it sooner. There's some recent tutorial videos beeing maked here and there, by different players. They helped me a lot! general mechanics videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHJNigI6CoE char specific geese http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meDOsZRSscA xiangfei http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfG4xhjRY6U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDEnBQwdXjY rick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oSe7U0Bi9w And there's lot's of match videos in Linnesaka (jp player) youtube channel too, like those geese vs kim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDGxsR3er9U mai vs rick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5WV3M5g4xI And a really cool looking Jp wiki http://gitr.web.fc2.com/select/select.html Edited September 1, 2013 by caiooa
Keo-bas Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 game is really good, gameplay is simple but engaging. rooster really diverse and balance enough that everyone is played. (their still loop sided match ups)
