It's going to be on the 16th(Saturday), and it'll be at the hotel where my last two tournaments have taken place. Cool. I'll do all that I can to attend this one. Hopefully Blitz is back in town by then.

Heh, I remember the last Walnut tourney I went to; I beat a couple of people in tourney and somehow according to the brackets I ended up tied for last place...

It'd also help if random people would stop touching the PC that's controlling the brackets too ^^;;. Anyway though, I can guarantee this one going down with no problems. Number 3 is the charm right?

I live in Escondido (willing to drive an hour or so) and would love to play some people in the area. I was really stoked to find this forum. My game needs some improvement and it would be cool to play some people in the area. I currently play with a couple friends of mine at my place on the PS2. Are there any arcades nearby with GG? I called a few, but I didn't have any luck. Also, if anyone else lives in the area and would like to play, just let me know. 655321 Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Hello Hatorri, Escondido, CA is about 20 minutes east of Oceanside, 35 minutes north/northeast of San Diego, and about 1 and a half to 2 hours south of Los Angeles. Please let me know if you know of any good spots to play. Thanks! 655321 Edit: I read through some of the older postings and it seems that Anaheim is a good hotspot. It's about an hour or so from me. I'd like to find someone that is hiding closer by, but Anaheim isn't bad at all.

Yeah sounds weird, but it's true. I think his record was 7322 wins and 0 losses when we had to call it a night. He is an amazing player, it was cool to witness some high level play first hand.

They all post on SRK mainly though. If you have an account there say hi. That is where purrin and most of SD crew hangs. Although it is good to check dustloop b/c some people dont like/have an SRK account.

Yeah it's good to play against high competition, it will help improve your game and you can get some good ideas from them. Maybe i can play with you guys and purrin also someday. Yeah i know purrin is a real good player. But i still never played against his may. When i play him he uses other characters like zappa, robo ky, or bridget. I have yet to feel the wrath of his May yet.

I never noticed that but you're right...Probably because I hate the May vs May fight. I've been accepting it more though, I finally fought Pulsr and Phae some May on May last Friday, and was pretty fun. Next time we play, I'll be sure to pick her. Infact, 655321 is hosting Wed night if you're interested. Dunno how far Escondido is for you but he said I can invite anyone, haha.
