Esayah Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 lol. I can't say it was ULTRA bad, but I did have a pretty hard time executing a few things. It seems like the K button on the left side was a bit unresponsive :X and the right side would randomly cause bursts when you hit HS. Grats :/
hatorri hanzo Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 It was still pretty fun getting to play against purrin, pignutz, phaethon. Getting to see pigz I-no in person and getting beasted by him. Also seeing Phaethon play Robo ky, First time i've seen a 89 hit combo in person. And playing against purrin, giving me a chance to get some tips from him. He does any low hitting move into horizontal dolphin. i need to do that more instead of vertical dolphin. im guessing mmmm....fire was the only slayer there with another guy that played zappa. it was fun playing you guys.

Props to him for being able to land it, usually it's not worth the effort.

And as for Hattori Hanzo, yea, that (horrible)Slayer was mine. My buddy, Bryan, was playing Zappa. GG's, hope to play more in the future. I definitely need more live practice :O

I notice the sticks were bad and prevented us from playing to our full capabilities. Couldn't hoverdash for crap for some reason. Maybe someone can throw a gathering around that area and we can play on ps2's . Waiting on Andrew to throw another garage gathering.

Shoutouts to storm (for being a friendly face), justus(for hosting the thing and not remembering where he put the slash CD), and to everyone that showed up. I learned a bunch, and hopefully I'll be less of a scrub next time we meet

The problem with playing with us on fridays is that after we play GG, we play D&D, which I know not many people are interested in. So we usually play gg from ~12-5. It's pretty long, but not everyone gets there at the same time.. We only have one person with a stick and he is at school till ~3, so we are stuck on pads till then. I gotta tell my friends to keep their mouths shut so we don't scare off any more players, ahaha. I'm thinking of hosting a tournament in a hotel room or something soon. Maybe within the month if anyone is interested. Anyone can come bug us all on Fridays usually, we don't start playing D&D till 8ish really, only problem is you would have to deal with 2 kids, one who happens to be worse than any amount of little kids imaginable, the other is a Sol scrub who is now at the level of using 6HS then GF, instead of just 6HS. (Also the characters name is Nero or Nrqvnsr Chaos) Seriously though it would be really cool if anybody would like to come on fridays(cept after 5:30 on the 3rd unfortunatly, I got stuck at work from 6-10ish srry Hatorri >.<) I'd love to get a full blown tourney going sometime around Thanksgiving weekend or something.
