Nini Heart Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Damn, got dodged hardcore. Stream was hype
unsanctifier Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I rather hold my 4-5k corner combos to reserve, it hurts my magatama seeing people burst out of my combos at the right time. not everyone bursts when you think they'll burst, and if they do, you area yomi god and can bait and punish all bursts
kirbster Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Nedel, I'm definitely interested in seeing that as an ex-Lambda player lol. As far as flashy combos go... for me if I know I can't pull it off 95% of the time in a match, I'll always alter a combo. I like to think everyone does... for example, I can't for the life of me figure out the correct timing for a particular corner combo that Matsu does with Rachel, so I said fuck it and changed it.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 I can't pull off tenchi combos, I alter them. Spark's corner combos are wtv, they aren't optimal, his corner carry combos are what's hype.

Personally I go for them anyways since the only practice I get is during actual matches since I don't really play at home.
Nini Heart Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Personally I go for them anyways since the only practice I get is during actual matches since I don't really play at home. Same. At worse you get a reset
Rhannmah Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Same. At worse you get a reset Ah, well as a Rachel player, what I usually miss is j.2C stuff, so what I get isn't a reset, it's a fucking punish
Nini Heart Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 hey guys, would people be interested in a next contender style tourney? the concept is simple, people who have won a lot of tournaments already are banned and will be on the scene giving advice in order to experience the birth of a new champ.

But WHO has won a lot of tournaments?
LuminAbyss Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 But WHO has won a lot of tournaments? BOOM.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Does nini even give good advice? Anyways GGs Steb, lol wolverine is just too funny. Nice seeing you Pedo.
Nini Heart Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) kirb has won a couple of the weekly things and won a major, i've won a couple(if not most) of the bi weekly things as well as most of the HQ shit and all the GOs. Anyways, you're all missing the point of this. THE SF guys even ban people who haven't won tournaments, because it's unhype to always have the same people placing consistently and to give a chance to new champs to rise. with that in mind, if there are no other objections, kirbster is banned and will be on deck giving advice. I would ban myself but that sounds very obnoxious, so i won't. i would ban brice but he's low tier and can lose and get astralled by almost anyone and hasn't won a single weekly since we started the brownie cups. Also Blade, i am coming to your house tomorrow for the CMV Edited November 8, 2011 by Nini Heart
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 In theory K.B's idea is good, however in practice there would be some problems that would arise. Ok keep me updated homie.
Bibiquadium Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 This shit is wrong, what's up with hella early meet ups w/o anyone texting me or whatever, I would have came. Now my plans to come to Foonzo tonight are obliterated because everyone left or is leaving and last Sunday pretty much everyone dodged and only me and Nini was there playing BB and watching the stream.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Wtf are you talking about Jon? I am the only one who left early, Pedro and Steb should still be there
Bibiquadium Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Steb has class soon and Pedro talking about not staying late (probably gone by now because there'd be no one left)
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 More people will go, don't worry too much about it, just go you emo.
Bibiquadium Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 lolno, not wasting 45 min to get there, and do jackshit at foonzo hoping for someone to show up. just following the flow of Sankishin's chat is enough.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Alright then makes sense, I didn't know it would be an early short meetup.
pochp Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 omg u guys, use the chat and your brains plz. out of the people who usually show up on tuesday, most have said they couldn't come so I'm just not gonna stay because I'm also behind on some schoolwork and job stuff. Anyways, anyone showing up for the ratio tournament on friday? Could make a team of 4 ratio 1 BB players lolol. However I don't like the idea of a new challengers tournament for us. I wanna compete against kirb, I feel I can take him on now, real talk. Or else we can do it anyways and I'll just MM him.

I disagree almost entirely with this. Having people that dominate a scene is what makes people better.
AirMaster Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'll probably be there on friday. Let's show those SF players how we play their game (very very badly).
kirbster Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'll probably be there on friday. Let's show those SF players how we play their game (very very badly). Hey weren't we supposed to have a money match in this game? Oh wait lol. @Nini : About the tournament... well I've never heard of this concept but I'm not sure how it'll help people improve... if anything tips can be given in casuals. If you say the SF guys do it then I guess it has some merit. BTW if it happens, you're extra banned lol. @Pedro : bring it the fuck on! Haven't played your Mu in a while, looking forward to it. BTW I didn't forget that I owe you for the meal last week.
