Milln Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Dissidia: Duodecim releases March 22nd, 4 days before the event. In honor of this, we will hold a side tournament for all-comers with rules posted on the front page. Entry is one dollar. It'll even be put up on a television for all to see! Grimstar Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) o shit I have a PSP... I had the first one... I could try the second one. But I doubt I'd play it enough to get good at it HAUY GAIZ LETS HAS POKEYMAN TOURNEE MINTS ^ Ok I was being sarcastic there, but if I actually got into it that could be kinda badass... like the old dayz Edited March 6, 2011 by Grimstar
Top_Cat Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 pokeymanz xD. tbh, i would probably be all for entering that. isnt the new one being released sometime this month?
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Well everyone, CS2 is officially in America now. GET HYPE TRICKS!!!!! Milln I think you might be running CS2 for your next MTN. What's this about Pokemon Tournaments? I rlly don't think you guys are ready for me to start dominating you in that game. This is coming from a guy who has actually been to a few Pokemon tournaments himself.....That felt kinda weird to say. Anyways, CS2 and POKEMON FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!
Astaroth136 Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 CS2 cabinets have arrived in America, not the update. The devs said it will still be a while before we get Plat with the CS2 update...
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I know, just saying that CS2 can be found in America now unfortunately. No reason to be sad though, just the fact that we're so close to CS2 is enough to hype me til the end of time. ^_^
Seiki Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 can we just have a few games in the line-up that the majority of us actually play? Seriously, we hardly have enough setups for blazblue.
Milln Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 Wanna know why? Cause no one fuggin brings any. However, that still doesn't hamper us. Everything runs smooth. What games are you suggesting that everyone plays? The list was to spark interest and see how many people would be like "Aw, me too!" No, we're not having pokemon. Dissidia:Duo is legit.
Grimstar Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Who plays Blazblue? I wonder if Jason would consider getting a CS2 cabinet I used to go to pokeyman tournies... granted I was like 13 at the time.. I was ownin some shit UP with dat arcanine. but that was when everyone was allowed to use Mewtwo and was bullshitting who is getting Dissidia that would enter a turney for it??? I'm only going to consider getting it if it has enough competition... Edited March 6, 2011 by Grimstar
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Never rlly got into dissidia much, just wasn't my thing. Good games that everyone plays and can be competitive. WAIT A SEC!!!!! MILLN, I GOT A FEW THAT MIGHT BE INTERESTING!!!!! Fate Unlimited Codes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OTBh3CWDpw&feature=related Battle Fantasia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBmlfDaLxvA&feature=related KOF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYqSKREd7m8 Edited March 6, 2011 by LastStarSaviour
Milln Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 I remember seeing that game. I was going to bring it up, but forgot when it came time to write down The List. Grim, at least me and one other person(KO) would be playing Dissidia. >,> I'd be willing to run Fate Unlimited Codes, too. Broke-ass combos, near-infinites, and pressure at its finest.

I want to try Gilgamesh out, he's pretty badass Edited March 6, 2011 by Grimstar
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) But that's wat makes it so epic!!!! If you guys want we could try reviving Guilty Gear even though it's not really dead. I'm sure Tad and Phil would be up for that too. And you know, who isn't up for a good ol game of Guilty Gear? Edited March 6, 2011 by LastStarSaviour
Grimstar Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Yeah I'm sure Phil and tad could bring GG setups, Phil would be all over that shit. I still suck at GG cause I haven't been able to sit down with it and practice on my stick. Only on PSP. So now I'm just bad at it on every console.
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Milln, maybe you could start throwing more friendlies for these games so that people could get used to them more. I can say for sure that some awesome casuals would do everyone some good. Then once everyone gets pro beyond words you could start throwing tournaments and what-not. Crap, some Guilty Gear tutoring sessions sound so good right now. Edited March 6, 2011 by LastStarSaviour
Grimstar Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I could bring Battle Fantasia next time. I have it on 360. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWIojDIXwus It's kinda like a Street Fighter meets Guilty Gear/BB gameplay style, with really lame characters. I know Chandler has it at least.
LastStarSaviour Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Ah I see, I was thinking it might have been more along the lines of soul calibur or something like that.
Milln Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 I have Battle Fantasia, too. It's like Grim explained it. It would have been popular, except it had the misfortune of being released alongside Street Fighter 4. I'll be rocking the Ashley, ChainsawGun, or Mr. BunBun. HEY. I WONDER WHAT WE NEED FOR CASUALS, GUYS. EFFING SETUPS. NOW DO YOU SEE WHY I KEEP ASKING YOU PUNKS FOR THEM? akjnfdjshfkdjshfkdjshfkdjshfskdjfhewufnie
LastStarSaviour Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) Lol, I love the smell of hat/setup rage in the morning. I'll definitely try and bring a full set up this time so do try to keep that hat on Milln. Edited March 7, 2011 by LastStarSaviour
Astaroth136 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Soul Calibur 4 is more than fine with me. My name's not Astaroth for nothin'...
Milln Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 While Soul Calibur is fine with me, too. We are not playing Soul Calibur. BlazBlue, Marvel, Dissidia. The discussion is what games should we set up for CASUALS on so that we can generate interest, and in the future, hold tournaments for it? Preferably something accessible, competitive(minimum random effects, skill-based, blah blah).
Seiki Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Some of us (including myself) don't really know whether we would like those games or not because we haven't played it yet, so why don't we just cycle games every month to get a feel for what everyone likes. Guilty Gear would be cool I always wanted to learn it religiously and I'd...(gags) be willing to give...arcana...hearts...3...a...chance...
LastStarSaviour Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Hm, Seiki warms up to AH3? Hell must be ice cold right now. Guess I better put the tempature below freezing. I'll give MvC3 another chance as well then!!!
Milln Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 I'll bring Battla Fantasia. If there are no setups brought, so help me...
