Sorry i'm a bit late on announcing what's going on this weekend, but better late than never I suppose. Anyways, it's the usual deal for when I host events. Anyone is welcome to show up as early as Friday at around 6:30 PM (that's around the time it takes for me to get home from work) until Sunday. I personally don't mind whether we end up in the Rivergate or Antioch location. I'm kind of interested to check out the Rivergate site and see what's up there, but I ultimately won't mind whichever we go with. So for now, I guess i'm voting for Rivergate just because. Also, don't care which date we go with to host (for now).

The House Party idea is still a go. I'm thinking of having it start from Friday July 25 in the afternoon to Sunday night (with a possible Barbeque starting on Saturday). There are a few rooms avaiable for people to crash so however long you want to stay for the weekend, that's cool with me. With that said, I also want to point out that UNIEL won't be the only thing with set-ups available. I'll try my hardest to have enough set ups so that there will be plenty of Gear, BB, Melty, KOF and whatever else you guys want to play there. So show up expecting to be able to get matches in whatever. Hope as many people as possible can show up and I hope we all have a good time.

Sup man, it has been a minute. I need to get around to playing some games with you. Other than that, how's it been? How goes the BB training? Also, are you interested in UNIEL at all? If you want, we should go ahead and get you into the MTN skype chat, if you're not already in it. That's where most of us talk and whatnot now.

I didn't know this was a question. I assumed that there was a system in place that we usually follow since we've been following it for about three years now. We've done these every last Saturday of the month and I assumed we only stopped these past few months because of a few events that were happening that we decided to stop our tournaments for (such as BADC). I'm fine with the system of just having it every last Saturday of the month, since well, that's how we've always done it. If it's too conflicting for a lot of people then there's no reason we really have to stop it for them. They can just try to get time and money or whatever the need may be for the next month. The only thing that should really be conflicting, is the games that we're going to play, and even then, that's not something that's hard to figure out in a few hours or a day. Well, i'll leave that to our organizer to figure out but we did have a system in place. On another note, Vocal, Volpe, and me had plans to throw a house party to celebrate Under Night's release in the future. Whenever we get a release date for it we're planning to have it set for about a week or two after the game came out. Maybe this will get more mileage here, but either ways, it's something that we were planning. If you're interested, let us know here or the skype chat, or PMs or whatever. Also, it won't just be UNIEL being played. We'll have set-ups for every game that people recommend. Throw your ideas, comments, thoughts at us and we'll see if we can make this happen.

Sadly, Mitsuru's sweep is still beating 5A and Coup Droit clean. You can see it happening quite a few times in this match here. I must say though, all of the changes have me really excited. The feint from 5/4/6B is amazing and her new 5AAA>4B string puts her almost all the way back at neutral.

Am I not supposed to be offended when someone compares me to cancer? What's worse is, you don't even have the nerve to just say it directly to me. You have to try and be passive-aggressive by posting it somewhere else thinking I wouldn't really find out about it. If you have a problem with me, you could've just said so to me through the proper channels.

No one's really hating on Suguri. However, if you're going to get rid of a game for certain conditions you've set while there's another that falls under the same circumstance, I expect for them to get treated just like other games, that's all i'm saying.

All i'm saying is, logically, Suguri falls under the same category as Persona, if we're going by Milln's logic on why we aren't running it. Milln HIMSELF, stated that he was taking it off of the lineup because of the few players here who take the game seriously. By that logic, does Suguri not fall under the same category? There are maybe three or four people who actually play the game competitively in MTN while Persona even has out-of-state competition that comes down to fight us. That's really the only point i'm trying to make.

Actually, don't only like three people play Suguri in the first place? Do they even play the game THAT seriously at that? Vocal's statement is just as valid as any other. If Persona can't stay on the line-up because there are only three or so people are playing it competitively, then I think Suguri doesn't belong there either. This isn't angry words, this is just sitting down and using common sense to assess a situation. Also Kyle, one, I do in fact travel. Been to Final Round, been to Memphis Boss Battles, going to NEC. Second, I don't host because apparently Milln is the only person who can do it? Third, I don't see how I can do that again because of the fact that everyone thinks Milln has to be the one who does it. I don't know where all of this "mutiny" bull shit spawned, but it isn't exactly that. All i'm asking is for our tournament organizer to get his act together so that when I spend my money to come down and participate, i'm not wasting my fucking time. Also, Milln, if you have something to say to someone, you should say it to their face rather than be passive-aggressive, it solves a lot more issues than it creates. But I guess you're too afraid to get off your "Throne of cynicism to oust this demon from your land." So instead you'll just find every excuse possible to not fight your battles properly. I'll be glad to listen to everything you say face-to-face since I find talking it out directly to be much more effective than what's happening right now. Just wish someone who's supposed to be the figure-head for our scene would have the balls to just say what's on his mind directly.

He doesn't have to be though. Unless GG is too unreasonable to let anyone other than Milln run tournaments using that particular venue. I still stand by the fact that there is absolutely no reason why we can't run multiple games unless Milln is inadequate as an organizer.

Where is Persona? Also, there are so many other fighters i've heard people take interest in. Vsav, Melty, and even Chaos Code and some others have all been games that people have been interested in. Why wouldn't we run those over games like Suguri? Just how many people actually play this game? In fact, fuck the numbers, why is running some random bullet-hell that isn't all that great in the first place over fighting games even an issue at a fighting game tournament? I can understand you want to play that game with other people since you don't play anything else, but I really can't see why you have to host that game as a main game in the line-up over a fighter. You should be able to run more than four or five games no matter how big the brackets for the games are. If you can't, it's because you aren't doing a sufficient job running your tournaments. Especially when we have a surplus of set-ups, and bigger scenes are able to juggle a great number of games while ending them all before our tournaments actually end with less set-ups. Do your job properly, and everyone can be happy. End of story.

I'll take a P4 tournament or training session. Wanna play more Chaos Code as well.

@DarkRanger: If it's that serious i'll sit down and have a long casual set of BB with you. I didn't know you wanted to play the game THAT badly last time. Everyone was having fun trying out something new. Come tomorrow and there will be BB...
