If I went, my dad would probably have to drive me, and with a tournament coming up a week later, I try not to ask too much of him. So... we'll see.

No offense, cameramen- it's just that HD video doesn't mean shit when you're recording composite. Nevertheless, I've got some of them edited and will be uploading them tonight. Look forward to them. Also look forward to a Ragna combo video I'll be getting out some time after I'm done with editing these videos. It'll be neat, I promise.

Klien, I can give you a ride as well, if necessary. Working on plans for the house party, but I can't get them worked out yet. I'd be at Blazefest @ Milln' cept I'll be out of town yet again for that entire weekend and next week. I think I main Noel again. I don't know what's happening anymore.

Jackie Chandler Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Video situation- I've kind of said "screw editing out just the matches" since the matches are split into different videos already. That means significantly less editing for me and significantly FASTER viewing for you guys. Besides, the tourney dialogue and shenanigans between matches can be rather humorous, and if you want to see just the matches you I'm sure you know how to use Youtube. I've got 8 uploaded of 15 total matches, so expect them all to be up within the next day or so.

Nemesis was alright he was everything I expected him to be, but Dr. Strange wasn't "strange" enough for my taste. I thought he would have a bunch of weird spells and an unorthodox playstyle, but he looks like Magneto with a wizard's cap.

But Naimat, from the looks of it, Doctor Strange has Steins a la Mu, a cross up teleport that activates when attacked, and a Beam Hyper that beats out Akuma's. And he's not strange enough for you? :P Also, before anyone decides to be clever, you might wanna ban the new Zero glitch Milln.
Seiki Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 they aren't strange because they aren't new ideas. cross up teleport is a counter which wesker kind of has, stein is mu, and a counter projectile super is just a counter but...for projectiles. I was hoping he would do things that weren't so direct like spells that would take away small amounts of meter or being able to use the other team's standby character as an assist or something. idk. I mean he is Dr. fucking Strange he has all these spells at his disposal in the comics and in umvc3 they just give him some projectiles with odd properties? come on. Ofcourse you play ragna jackie so anything is original to you.

Quite a few characters have those already. Setting up orbs? MODOK does this with cubes. Nemesis is like Hulk with a Rocket Launcher. If he ends up being better than Hulk, I'll use him. Also, are all of these new characters going to have level 3s? That's kind of gimmicky... EDIT Supposedly, Hawkeye will have numerous "status effect" arrows. Why couldn't Strange do things like this? Seiki Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I just want them to show iron fist already. The only character im actually looking forward to playing. They can't possibly fuck him up. He punches and kicks in the comics...i hope he does the same in a fighting game.
