Luckily it won't make that big of a difference seeing as we'll both be new to the game anyways. Planning to use this down-time to start practicing using a stick. Also Volpe, my mom will be in town Thursday so I was planning to ask her to drop by and get the FightStick if you're still willing to let me borrow it. KING OF FIGHTERS 13 TOMORROW!!! GET HYPE!!!!

When I think if you, I see Terry, Iori(Flames DLC), Joe or Athena until DLC comes out, and Benimaru. I also see with my Milln powers, Takuma, Mature/Vice, and King. Also that soldier girl wearing blue hair, fatigues and has the blue swipe attacks. Definitely her. I may be wrong or my 8-ball is hazy. Star might play Athena instead of Elisabeth. 10 bucks it is. I've been looking up some stuff about it, and I'm debating passing up some Black Friday stuff to buy it. Is the input system lenient, and how does the input system fare in comparison to BB/SF? Is it very combo-reliant? How's the character diversity? And is it difficult to learn three different characters starting from the ground up? Jackie- K', Kyo, Robert or Ryo douchebaggiest characters, and Ryo for wake up DP EDIT: Unless he's surprisingly awkward to play as, K' is already fo' sho' on my character list. I dunno about Robert, but if Ryo has a good DP he's a definite candidate for me. Kula seems like a fun character at the moment, too, but I'm not sure. For the rest, you act as if KOF is a new fighter. It's not, and it engineered a lot of gameplay mechanics such as advanced canceling and such. It's a solid game and has always been a solid series pipped with as much strife as any other title. It's simply not as..... Well known as street fighter. It has a heavy Spanish following always and still sees much regard. Past few years have been rough for it due to releasing an unfinished KOF 12. 13 is the reboot that everyone has been waiting for.

I think you'll like it very much, and the way KOF plays will likely improve you for fighter in a global sense. Learning a chara is about 1/5 the work of say, BB.

I must have forgotten that I pre-ordered KoF at Amazon, because when I got home the game was waiting on my doorstep. I'm taking it as a sign. :3 I've only done the Tutorial and a bit of Practice mode, but I can tell I'm going to like the game a lot, despite the improvements I'm going to have to make to my execution. Tad and Naimat are right- I can definitely see this game developing better fundamentals.
