How are you splitting up the community? All CS2 is on console is a patched CS1 with plat. why cant CSEx be the same and also a standalone disc? Capcom did this with AE and there is no divide. Everyone will be playing the same game I don't get your logic.

Okay, now remember what you said. You wanted to just get Relius as DLC and the patch (by patch i'm assuming you meant just the re-balance because that's what you said). Meaning you would not be able to even play someone who has the EXTEND disc in while you have the CONTINUUM SHIFT disc in. How would that work online and so forth? And how is there no divide?

is how I see it. If a disk offends you so much, just don't buy it. It REALLY isn't that complicated. If you don't like what a company is doing, just vote with your wallet. Some of us didnt buy Mak/Val/Plat and hell I consider CS2 different enough that it coulda been a new disk. So idk. Don't see an issue with Extend.

Naimat- I had a well thought out response in the works to your post a few hours ago, but it's a bit outdated now. Basically, the point I was going to make was that the entire matter is subjective. What makes a game "worth" the money is completely up to whoever's buying it. For example, I clearly wouldn't have a problem paying $80 for the game in a language I don't understand, but I wouldn't necessarily think you're wrong if you passed the game up for $40, either. Extend is geared to appeal to both veterans AND newcomers in the most cost-effective way possible. That's what it boils down to.

Star- Read above. Like I said, it's completely subjective. Anyone can argue what they'd prefer, but if you take an honest look you can see why Aksys made the decisions they made.

Midnight- I lol'd at "5 is close to 18." Good to have you back, I hope it stays that way. Just watch out- I'm kinda legit now. Still can't break air throws though. :P
