I have only (2) qualms regarding VSAV & it's entirety. (1) of these WAS the fact that some characters have mixups which are too fast to react too. So fast in fact, the one doing the mixups can't even confirm dmg. I would get upset watching the best of the best players dropping dmg for frame advantage & going for more mixups. Haitani (One of VSAV's highest players) openly says the game is too fast and some mixups you can't react to. he says the defender is forced to make educated guesses on what the opponent is trying to setup. We call this YOMI. I was never a fan of YOMI b/c my only experience w/ the concept is in Super Turbo: where it exist strictly b/c of a players lack of options and the opportunity to be predictable is adherent. However, yomi exist in vampire b/c of the game speed and knowing this has helped me escape much more situations than relying on my reactionary skills. This makes a dynamic interesting game! In contrast, look at BB:CS. I was fighting Midnight in GF's and was able to block mixups for ~50 secs (literally). Although the defense was commendable, the match was still Zzzzzz'z. tl;dr more VSAV less BB.

Seiki Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Lol Joe has great keepaway and I said this before, Joe is great at keepaway but I try to play him rushdown and I get blown up. Yeah he's viable as a keepaway character but not a rushdown one and...i dont particularly enjoy just running away and spamming voomerangs it gets boring quick so for my playstyle he just doesn't fit. @Kyle: I like Vampire Kyle, but i think like most of the people here we are more interested in some of the more recent games that have come out. Ofcourse I'll be playing it when you come to TN since i do want to learn it.

I'm a lost cause I guess. @Papstr: I find this funny since I particularly don't like lolis of any kind. You guys foolishly gave me that title since I played AH3, which is a good game but people are blinded by the character designs.
