Speaking of which, I can't remember if I said anything or not, but I'm still planning to make it to Powerup (have the money saved, checked the schedule to make sure I don't have any bullshit un-make-up-able tests, etc.) though I might have to head up Saturday or late Friday (the former is more likely). Will be bringing my friend Eireprince, Papstr (if he can make it), and anybody else in Cookeville who may want to go.

Powerup will have Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, and Arcana Heart 3 tournaments run by King of Anime. From what I understand, you'll be able to play them with just a Spectator Pass since they're not "official tournaments," and they'll be $5 apiece.

And speaking of the housing situation... Tad can I ride with you to power up? I'll pitch in for gas. Has Tad mentioned whether or not he'll be able to make it to Powerup? He said a while back that he needed to choose between a wedding and Powerup, and I don't think we ever got a definitive answer. If he won't (which would be saddening in itself), we need to figure out what to do for housing. I was planning on throwing some money towards Tad for getting the hotel room anyway, so maybe we could all pitch in towards a hotel room?

I have an inventory to attend/supervise and then work on the other days. I have sadness. And then I don't even get to rest after the TN Dolls tournament on April 28th since I have my -own- inventory to be at on the 29th. Also news flash: Being sick sucks. Working a twelve hour day after throwing up the day before was a splendid idea.

In regards to the hotel room thing, awesome. But have you looked into bus fares? The only two buses I could find from Cookeville/Nashville to Cincinnati were Greyhound and the Megabus, with the latter being the much cheaper option. It seems like it would cost about $60-$80 round trip with the Megabus (depending on when you left/came back), as opposed to the $110 one-way with Greyhound. To me, that still seems incredibly expensive though. Is there something up with your car? If not, I would just see about driving Star/Volpe/whoever else lives around the Nashville area and splitting gas costs.

I'm leaving out Thursday late morning, and can give rides. I'm going early for Fight Night and just general fun times. The housing hookup is in place, no worries. I'm giving Klien a ride this Saturday. Lee and Caleb, could you guys remember my converters and stick? My personal current game list. GG, BB, VSAV, SFXT, KOF. I really tried SCV, not my thing. Can't stand playing it, but I enjoy watching it. I'm unhype about P4U at the moment, this is subject to change as I'll certainly try it out, but I'm not feeling the game based on videos and such. A car with 4 passengers would have to fall under 20 MPG to be more expensive than Megabus, on the general estimate. Megabus is fucking cheap as far as it goes tho. I'm planning on driving my 2 seater to PowerUp, but if 2 or more wanna ride with me, I'll switch and take the boring ass 4 seater. Congrats to Dacidbro for the reverse OCV. I've never met the cocksucker, but I'm surely proud of him for beating Japanese players on Japanese soil.

I'll make sure Papstr remembers your stuff on Saturday. @Naimat- If you were the only person in Tennessee going to Powerup and didn't have any alternatives, $60 round trip would definitely be affordable. But since it's looking like both Tad and I will be driving, why not just ride with one of us and pitch in gas money? That way it would be cheaper for everyone, including yourself.
