I just bought the Platinum voice announcer, guys. I couldn't help myself. The way she says "Actiooooooon!" and it kind of lingers into the start of the match, the way she pouts "Ragna the Bloodedge" when you pick him at the Character Select screen, and the way she shouts "Astral Finiiish!" in a bubbly and excited voice was just too much.

Needless to say we'll be using Yuuki Aoi B on my 360 come Saturday.

Power Up room details are as follows: MTN has a room, pitch in what you can, but we have a hotel room Friday and Saturday night. If you can do math at all, then you should be able to figure out your split. If you can pitch in none, any, or all, give it to me. Big brother putting you on the honor system and paying for the ones who can't swing it, that simple. No fucking stress.

As far as the ride goes, pretty much the same. I can take 3 passengers, or 4 if you like each other and wanna get cuddly in the back. If Vocal goes, I'll just give Naimat a ride (in the 2 seater), but if he don't, I'll switch to the sedan and we'll have creme, mocha, high yella, and... what the fuck colored are you Naimat?

Remember, I'm leaving Thursday morning by 11:00 AM that day. I'm getting the Cinci for some fucking VSAV and early games.

Hm, well whichever way it turns out i'm willing to drop 50 bucks for gas and 50 for splitting a hotel. I too am kind of curious about housing arrangements so if it's possible to get the details on that i'd be much appreciated Tad.

Damn, that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. D: Maybe you can still work something out with Naimat. IIRC, he won't be able to ride with Tad either since he has lab on Fridays. I would offer to give you guys rides, but A. it's looking like my seats are going to be filled and B. even if they weren't, I'd need you guys to find a ride down to Cookeville. Gah.

About the AC itself:

The new AC feels slower in terms of mobility and pace of battle plus you can't fly anymore. closest thing is a jump that lets you glide back down to the ground. You can kind of fly if you jump and then use your boost. Main way of getting around quick is using boost, like previous AC games, and also climbing buildings lol. you climb up top buildings and use the vantage point to jump off and boost to get yourself above the battlefield but because you can't fly you'll glide back down to the ground. I kind of like this because you can't stay above everyone and rain bullets all day and to stay up there you have to use boost so it requires a cost of some kind.

Multiplayer:

Gameplay wise, it's more team oriented which is pretty badass and the game makes you feel like you are in an episode of Gundam more than the previous ones for me anyways. The game focuses more on tactics and being able to work together as a team rather than who has the bigger gun.

Clan System:

Probably one of the coolest features, it's like gamebattles but better. You get to make a clan with team name, emblem, etc. and contest various locations on a map against other teams on xbox live. Once you win a territory you keep it but anyone, within your skill range, can come in and contest it. Your goal is to try to take over as many territories as you can.

I'll share my input on AC5:

My main experience is with Last Raven. It feels nothing like that. Movement is less about flying and more about jumping around, using buildings and terrain to wall jump and such. Scan mode and Combat mode switching feels very realistic, but theres a learning curve in switching back and forth fast and on the fly.

I love the online, and it works smoothly for me. Haven't done too much team stuff though. I mostly take merc jobs. I'm on Reddit's team at the moment, but nobody ever seems to be on. if you guys all get it and get into it, we could form a team and go raid some fools.

Overall the game is badass as hell and I could explain further, and maybe I'll edit this post, but I have class shortly so yea.

Also Jackie: I'm not riding to MTNG with you. I'm hanging with Keith on Friday. I'll mooch a ride off of you Saturday night afterward though :P
