Meaning I shouldn't have fought Zeno in the bracket but we thought we did so we fought and I lost and we were both in the losers bracket. but when we realized wee weren't supposed to fight each other milln said it doesn't count. so my actual match in losers was against chandler. I beat him...then I beat volpe then it's me and star in grand finals. Spoilers: He uses Noel all through the first set. I beat him first game. I beat him second game. He beats me third game. he beats me fourth game. I beat him fifth game. Second set: He decides to pick Ragna...dis nigga...I'm like I've seen the most bullshit things you can do with Ragna thanks to players like Chandler...do you think you can be as much of a scrub as Chandler? I shook my head. So we fight. He actually took a round off me. but i wrapped things up quick. then he picks Mu and i beat him. then he beats me. he beats me again. then at character select i thought he would pick Noel but nope he picked Mu. Jackie Chandler Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 All right, before I give shout-outs, there's a little something I kind of wanna vent about. Just bear with me. I know I make a lot of mistakes. I've blown out an entire wall of electronics, turned off a T.V. during Grand Finals, screwed up the brackets while Milln was gone, and much much more. And for those mistakes, I'm sincerely sorry. I never do these kinds of things on purpose. In fact, the only time these things happen are when I try to help. The reason I killed the wall's power was because I was trying to put together all the setups we'd need. The reason the T.V. turned off during Grand Finals was because I was trying to migrate Blazblue over to a lagless television. The reason I screwed up the brackets was because I was unfamiliar with the formatting of the program (and stupidly thought two blank lines = byes). And the reason I spilled the drink close to the end of the day was because I was trying to throw away a bunch of empty cups at once (which I was extremely unhappy about, because it was the only drink with anything left in it that I dropped and Milln probably ruined his shirt mopping it up while I ran to get napkins). So yes, I can be a nuisance sometimes, but my intentions for the community are always good. I never intentionally try to mess with things, and I hate that I screw things up so often. But I'm trying to get better. I really am. So until then, fire me to your heart's content. … also, I typed this up before Milln made his post earlier today. Dammit. XD Now that that's out of the way, prepare for an incoming wall of SHOUTOUTS: Milln- As always, thanks for hosting and making things hype and awesome. You're the bawsest baws of all the bawses. Sorry for messing up in handling the brackets, and sorry you used your shirt to clean up the drink I spilled. D: If it doesn't come out, I'll buy you a new one. Show 'em Cookeville isn't free. :D I need to play more KoF, and we need to get together and have some casuals one day. I'm still pretty bad, but I figure playing you might change that, haha. :P Astaroth- I know it's completely unrelated to the tourney itself, but I was super hype for you trying out those Tager Missions. I know how tight money can be, so Extend may not be a priority for you right now. But if/when you can afford it and learn that new Tager, there's a good chance I'll cream myself. So get on that. :3 Boomcube- Shoutouts for annihilating me in Mahvel. You didn't even need Phoenix the four times you got her. :P In all seriousness, those were fun games. A bit of a shame we probably won't be seeing any more random tourneys. Doro- Thanks for showing up, Doro. It feels like it's been a really long time since I've seen you for some reason. Graham- Congrats on beating me in KoF, and landing third place in the tournament. It's cool to see Cookeville doing so well in tourneys. :] Like I said to Andrew, we gotta meet and do casuals one day. Grimstar- WHERE YOU AT. >:/ Justin- We need to get in Melty Blood casuals. I've been craving some Doritos. K.O.- I understand you weren't having a good day. I don't know exactly what happened, but whatever it was, I hope it worked itself out. You're a cool guy, and I hate to hear things might not have been going well for you. D: Kain- HOLY SHIT, Colorado? I knew you moved, but I didn't think you moved THAT far away. O_O Geez man, thanks so much for showing up. I hope you didn't break the bank or anything. It was good seeing you, and if you can ever make it down for the occasion again, it'd be cool seeing you again then too. :] Kim?- Er... I think that was your name? The girl who came with Star/Vocal/Sechel? Whatever your name is, new faces are always welcome (especially when they give me Streetpasses :3). Hope you enjoyed yourself, and if you can attend the next one, I'll try my best to get your name straight. XD LastStar- Great job getting second place, Star! You played some really great matches, and I was surprised to not only see you confident enough to play a few different characters, but performing well with all three, too. The reaction for when you picked Ragna against Naimat was priceless. XD Also, it was a lot of fun talking about random games at IHOP afterward. I feel like we have very similar taste in games. :3 But yeah, just keep on playing dat BB. I really wouldn't be surprised if you took the tournament next time. :D Lumin- Shoutout for being our biggest fan, encouraging Chandler/Lumin Factor, and caring enough about us to tune in to our matches if we were having a stream. *5B Jesus Kick Brofist* Agreed, we were born to play this character. :3 Midnight- WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE REAL MIDNIGHT. The Midnight I knew would have been confident enough to show up and act like the prize money would pay for his car repairs and stuff. :/ Really though, sorry you weren't able to make it. Hope to see you at April's MTN. Competition's fierce since you last competed, so don't think we're as free as we used to be. :3 Naimat- Congrats on getting first place, dude! Especially after you thought you were out of it because one of us screwed up the brackets. :B I know you feel like you get BS'd a lot, so it makes me happy to see you coming out on top despite all the BS. Plus, those were some hype Grand Finals. Keep up the good work. :] Negro Justice- Props for giving a really cool speech on how people need to show up to KoF/Mahvel with you guys. That was pretty inspiring. I'll likely need to figure something out, but I'll do my best to make it up when I can. :D Papstr- Gawwwwwd I need to stop being busy all the damn time. Playing in the KoF tourney made me really hungry for some KoF competition, and I'm coming for YOU. >:3 Sorry you had to sit in my “backseat” (if it can really be called that), but it was fun talking with ya on the way back. It feels like it's been a really long time since we talked last, and the conversations we had were cool. Stay in touch dood. Phil- It was really cool talking with you about Gear and Final Round and stuff. Like I said, I'll be anxiously checking the calender for a release date on the XBL/PSN version, and I hope I can play you when it comes out (even though I'll be getting utterly destroyed, haha). Pickle- Y U NO COMMENTATE ON GAMES YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOOT? For some reason I feel like I handed the mic to you a few times, went to go do something else for a bit, turned around, and you were gone. :< Pickle commentary = hype commentary. But that aside, I'm glad you showed up. Hope to keep seeing you around. :] Sechel- Was nice meeting you, and talking at IHOP after the tourney. It seems like you have a real interest in Blazblue, since you were playing CS2 on your PSP most of the time you weren't playing a match. I really hope you keep at it. We always need more regulars for BB in Middle Tennessee. :3 Tad- Gawd, you're such a cool dude. I really wanted to get in some matches with ya in BB (those Ranked Matches got me really hype for them, in fact) but I understand you gotta leave when you gotta leave. Hope we can make up for it at Powerup this year. I'll try to prepare for Guilty Gear a bit as well. :D Tret- I know I keep telling you this, but I'm really happy to see you working to improve, as well as the results of those efforts. I see you playing better and better every time, and how quickly you're progressing astounds me. The fact that you can hold your own in matches with the vets is awesome. :D You know I'll do whatever I can to help you prepare for the next tourney. Playing those casuals after the tournament made me realize how much you've improved, and you definitely deserve more recognition than you get. You have my utmost respect. Your Hakumen is very solid, and very scary once you get things going. And I never got the chance to formally apologize, but I'm really sorry for messing up the brackets and having you play Naimat. I know it must have sucked to have that match illegitimized. I hope you weren't/aren't still unhappy about it. :[ Anyone I forgot- Look at this list of shoutouts. Alphakami Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I just ordered KoF XIII for the 360 on the Milln tip. Also picked up Extend for the PS3, so I can play my Tager god friend in Germany and Star. Sorry I had to leave so early Saturday, I didn't play many casuals at all. Good shit to Volpe, you've got my number, it seems. Had alot of fun playing Astaroth as well, it's been too long man. Thanks to Milln for the projector, that thing is awesome, and thanks to Chandler for the camera. Busy weeks ahead, I hope I can find some time for extra gaming.

I play 5 games at least, and you know I"m not twice as smart as you. We can decide not to compete if you really aren't feeling it, but it's far to soon to give up. 3 hours of training mode man, you can muster that much.

Too much trolling and crowd hyping costed me that one (No more Rags and as much as I love her I don't think i'm cut out to play Mu *sobs*) . I remember Volpe looking at me and saying "You sold your pride as a wolf for a cheap laugh? You fucking disgust me" with a face of pure rage, needless to say he was right. Also, thanks for the BB talks. With most of the people at MTN not even playing it anymore it was nice to know that there was someone still doing their homework on the game. You hype for that X-Blaze I see. Klein- For getting my hopes up that someone actually practiced BB, you are now on my watch list. I'm coming for that beard... Jackie- Good match in the tourney. I honestly can't remember much of what happened but whatever. You are a fellow Tales brother and that's all that matters....that and Ragna's derp as heck.
