Vocal Sabre Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Even though I can see her shooting those bowls she has as projectiles similar to Aegis and Bang. If she does have a persona, which I doubt, I can see it appearing out of her little delivery box. OMG, the hype keeps building. Screw every game that isn't P4U, I want it, I want it NOW!! If she just randomly gets a persona for no reason, I'm shooting myself. On the spot.
Tophatmoffet Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Sad news for everyone, Elizabeth is slow and mildly weak. This could be because not much has been figured out for her. Also she's really great at inflicting statuses, especially fear, and has a fairly strong command grab. Also, fuck p3 protag, aika NEEDS to be the last character.

Well, it's a bit too early to judge this for sure. Since she has so many tools it's definitely going to be a while (and by a while I mean about four or five months) to discover her true meta-game. From what it looks like it seems that she has a variety of playstyles to choose from. Also, Aika most likely is the last character for P4U.
Vocal Sabre Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Also, Aika most likely is the last character for P4U. I hope not. I really, really, REALLY wanted Koromaru...

Volpe-de-Glacio Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 (edited) Like her being low tier would stop me from becoming godlike anyway. I hope not. I really, really, REALLY wanted Koromaru... This. Edited April 6, 2012 by Volpe-de-Glacio
LuminAbyss Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I was interested in Akihiko, Yosuke, and Yukiko. But my scene is trying to get me to play Yu. #andpeoplewonderwhyIplayflagship
LastStarSaviour Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Sounds like something I said. Well, it is true so...
Jackie Chandler Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I was interested in Akihiko, Yosuke, and Yukiko. But my scene is trying to get me to play Yu. #andpeoplewonderwhyIplayflagship People want you to play Yu because you make "boring" characters interesting. ... actually, I wouldn't mind seeing you play Yu myself, but main whoever you'd like. You've got my attention no matter what.
LuminAbyss Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Ahahaha. Unlocking the hidden fun in "boring" characters eh? I plan to give all four of them a shot, I love those characters so much, Yukiko is like, waifu tier for me.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I dunno about that, Yu looks like he could be pretty fun. I'm looking at Labrys, Yosuke, and of course Elizabeth myself. Well, it is true so... It also sounds like common sense. Just with less throne of cynicism.
Papstr Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 So i just got word that on the weekend of PowerUp, my family is having a large gathering to celebrate one of my Aunt's 50th birthday. Coupled with the fact that my 88 year old Grandfather will be there and I have not seen alot of my family in a long time, I feel obligated to go to that. Glad I hadn't registered for PowerUp yet. Ah well. Sorry folks. Hope Yall have a good time.
Klein Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Klein - I see you've got your priorities straight. . . There can be only one! :@ Challenge accepted.

Jackie Chandler Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 So KoF is completely edited and uploaded. I'll start editing and uploading Blazblue on Sunday.
Tophatmoffet Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 On P4:U, Akihiko is sooo boss. Definitely my main. Definitely boss, but be careful. A lot of akihiko players would tell you not to bother.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) Man, who cares how great or terrible a character is? Arc games are typically balanced enough that even the lower tiered characters stand a chance at higher level play. I see great Makotos and Tsubakis who're still holding their own well enough, granted they might have to struggle a bit if they're fighting Ragna. If someone likes a character's playstyle, I see no reason they shouldn't train with them. If it's a matter of difficulty or oversaturation; fuck the rest. You can still stand apart by developing a unique playstyle and great execution. How would Akihiko players even know this? The game hasn't even gotten to console, let alone America. Come over, i'll teach you how to rock faces in KOF.
LastStarSaviour Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 The only thing that I hear about Akihiko is that he's bad at neutral, nothing else. He has really good combos, mix-ups, and over-all tools in general, he is not a bad character.
Starlight777 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I don't know who I want to play in P4U because I love everyone. In BB I hated nearly everyone so it was easy to make a choice. Also I have one minor gripe against P4U. THERE ARE ALMOST NO PINK PALETTES! I wanted to troll with Pink Kanji.
Milln Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Also I have one minor gripe against P4U. THERE ARE ALMOST NO PINK PALETTES! I wanted to troll with Pink Kanji. Play on component cables. Take out the blue cable and, depending on your tv set, the green as well. Pink everywhere.
LastStarSaviour Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Aegis has a decent pink color scheme. I think Elizabeth has one as well. Not sure about everyone else though.
Tophatmoffet Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) He has good mix-ups, and over-all tools in general, he is not a bad character. Actually both his overhead and his low (note: singular) are punishable on block. His mixup is trash because if you miss your mixup you can lose a match. Overall what tools he has are weak. His job is to get in, but once he's in, he only has to fuck up once to get combo'd and have to work his way back there. Meanwhile chie and mitsuru have sick pressure and great combos. But dont take MY word for it. I'm just some fucking guy. Listen to akihiko players. Edited April 7, 2012 by Tophatmoffet
