TheRealBobMan Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I had heard confirmation on some other developers/designers, and I'm wondering if there was any news about the guys that work on GG/BB. Japan is pretty boned right now... : (
McArthur Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 wasnt he with mori during the france visit? i heard they're ok since u know theyre in france the time of the disaster. i hope japan will be ok
Fenrir Werwolf Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 (edited) Let's clarify something: the eathquake do not make too much damage itself, it was the tsunami the real catastrophe. That also means, that mainly the region of Sendai and other was heavily striked, while cities like Tokyo is fine. Yes, there is some energy problem but..whatever. Yes he and Mori and everyone else is fine, i follow them in twitter. And btw they're already returned from the European tour, from a few weeks. It was a short visit. P.s: Why you posted it in Guilty Pleasures? O_o Edited March 15, 2011 by Fenrir Werwolf
TheRealBobMan Posted March 15, 2011 Author Posted March 15, 2011 I didn't know where else to put it. DERP Yeah, they've been getting hammered with Earthquakes like it's Chipp's c.S > c.S block pressure, but the tsunami was like getting hit with a CH FB Pile Bunkah by comparison, considering how well their structures were built to handle earthquakes. I'm still seriously worried about their nuclear plants, and it doesn't help that a volcano went off. Glad they're ok though.
rtl42 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Yes, there is some energy problem but..whatever. try to have a bit more care and sensitivity to those living through the situation. for example, i have been, for the most part, unaffected, but there are lots of people for whom a consistent supply of electricity is vital (e.g. hospital patients). moreover, people are getting overexcited about the amount of radiation coming to the metropolitan area and have begun hoarding food and supplies, which not only makes life hard for everyone in this area, but also makes it hard for goods to get out of the metropolitan to the disaster-struck regions. and even though it's true that most of Kantou was largely undamaged (only the Pacific side of Chiba, as well as Ibaraki, took tsunami damage), people did still die here, as well. ...so it's not "whatever". btw the volcano is in southwestern Japan, quite far away from the earthquakes/tsunami/nuclear plants. (although sure, it doesn't help that more things just keep blowing up around here.) and yeah, Guilty Pleasures was a bit of an odd choice to post the thread. I think Guilty Room is okay, since it's about Ishiwatari and Mori.
