Syempre ok din nga kung madaming "studies" on the design. Pwede yung direction na na mention ni Anton, or there could be another direction all together. Wag lang malimit yung ideas... sige lang! At oo nga, good point yung na raise ni Ry. Kasi kung puro BB chars, pero yung site naman para sa 2D fighters in general, parang masyadong biased ata hehe. Unless may individual banners for each game, or a general logo na hindi leaning towards any game. Ano sa tingin nyo?
Chase Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Maybe the logo should contain "IAD" itself and other elements of fighting games, like blood splatter, fire, ice, lightning etc. We don't need to limit the logo to games as it is, we can also include images of IAD group members and such. Who knows maybe we could put Dix's face on the logo saying "can you take the heat?" lol

I actually like the logo on the cards with the arrow, It's referential to a fighting game mechanic, and, a bit more importantly, simple enough that you can size it bigger or smaller without losing fidelity and meaning. Just put a nice, witty tagline there with like multiple meanings such as "We go up, then press forward," and you're pretty much done.

Forgot that this is a discussion board XD @SGFinest topic They usually participate in internet matches (hongkong vs singapore, mga ganun) and their normal internet i heard is a 7.2mbps wi-max connection (coverage is entire country). So i dunno if PSN is exactly the best venue for us to play with them if ever. Last tournament i've seen in singapore when i was there was in AFA and they didn't allow the use of pads afaik to go with a smoother gameflow. (they only had one unit, so i wont blame em) kelan ka mag SG? @may14 Wala pang cs2 sa US version for sure, dunno bout JP version though. Thus malabo na available ang cs2 at that time. @Q Yeah what i meant to say was he can choose minimalist, cluster fuck, or mediumly designed as a starting point, he doesnt have to be limited to them. As for the three things i mentioned (copy, logo, site name), they're the staples in banners. You dont need to have all of them there as well, but the site name OR logo is a must. I think the random seeding eliminates any chances of "counter-picking" before the tourney even starts... kasi di mo naman malalaman yung kalaban mo until na set na yung bracket. "Counterpick" against someone in particular, eh maliit naman probability na makakalaban mo yun... And as mentioned, di naman pinupublish yung registered chars before the event, more on afterwards na yun. @SGFinest Propose tayo ng dual meet with them haha. Prepare tayo ng Philippine contingent to go up against their best. That would be awesome for the Philippine community. Another reason why we need to raise funds... Malakas Singapore guys ha. Nakalaro ko mga yan through hamachi dati sa Melty Blood. Unlike us, they have actual arcades and very active yung FG community nila. Seriouz biznezz mga yan.
