This matchup is still a nightmare. Her distortions are just too good, and God forbid you're caught in the corner, which is going to happen if she hits you even once.

played against lk, have no approach on getting in on litchi. zones tager so badly with her hakumen 4c-ish type move, followed by the one where she throws+spins the stick at you.

was forced to try to do flying tager stuff, which didnt work much better at all.

my best experiences against litchi happen when I get in early somehow and stay there. once she creates separation its over. but if you get in early you can end the match in 20 seconds.

i would have to agree, that zoning is pretty aggravating, i wouldn't say as bad as before, but gettign in is a sever problem, id say best bet is use some jump shenanigans, even then its nto very creative.

Yeah, seems to me you have to inch forward by jumpins, being careful to block anti-airs and hope you can catch some bad timing or a fuckup. Either that or back her into the corner and then hopefully she'll do something dumb.

Ugh, sounds like Lambda.

If she is Magnetized and not exactly at max range you can actually 360A/720 6B>6C.

The issue is that she can still pretty much zone Tager for free and he doesn't have a solid answer for it.

the only way i've been able to get in is to spark ball as she attacks. even if she hits, as long as the ball comes out she will pretty much be next to you. too bad this isn't that reliable tho...........

Sledge beats out any straight-through shennanigans. if your sledge hits her block, go straight for hammer, only thing she can really do is wait for it to cancel and then hope that hammer doesn't land whilst she's totally vulnerable.

Other than that, got nothing.

From my experience approach cautiously and don't be predictable.

IB her stuff and read overheads.

Know if Litchi is straight up running in then she is gonna do something shady.

Never for any reason let her just rush you.

Don't fret if she escapes, just try again.

Save that spark bolt for stupid.

Trust me on this.

Tsubami Gaishi Is punishable after blocking the first part with A sledge, if she's magnetised, then a 360A (Don't hold it) will work as well. So there shouldn't be any need to risk an A sledge immediately after Gadget finger.

Strange all I see in this match up is....

Litchi: throws staff

Tager: You block and try to get in. If you sledge that staff, than your a damn fool.

repeat this exchange until the other gives in.

Fixed it for you. A sledge is actually okay, at close range you might clip her with it (the hitbox is rather good) and at range, you're trading block-pushback for a move forward instead. Seems good to me.
