TorontoTopTiers is proud to present Smash-Up II Tournament. We are celebrating our 2nd incarnation of our beloved Smash-Up Tournament. Do you play Fighting Games? Do you have what it takes to be a Champion? Do you want to prove your skill throughout every Canadian player? Come join us on Feb. 4th and fight for supremacy.

_____

DATE: Feb. 4th 2012 @11a

__________

LOCATION:

Best Western Primrose Hotel

Pearson Room

http://www.torontoprimrosehotel.com/

111 Carlton Street

Toronto, ON M5B 2G3

___________

DIRECTIONS:

College Subway Station. Take Street Car East to Church St.

You cannot miss this Hotel, there's a Tim Horton's under it.

The place is up the stairs and to your left. The room is called "Pearson Room".

__________

VENUE FEE:

$10 – Door Fee

$10 – Entry Fee Per game

$10 – Spectator Fee

_____

FOOD:

Tim Hortons on the ground floor of the hotel.

Lots of food area outside. Go to Yonge street and you'll find more food areas.

________

PARKING:

Please keep in mind that this tournament is in Downtown Toronto. It would be ideal for you drivers to find a WHOLE DAY parking. It is really easy to get TOWED or FINED here if you miss even 1 minute on the meter. Do not risk it. Just suck up the cost. I know it hurts but it takes away the worry in the long run. Your call what you decide.

I looked around today and this seems to be the best place to park.

I made a map:

SCHEDULE:

Tournament Schedule

Door Opens: 11a

Game Registration: 11a-12:30p

Tournament Start Time: 1p

We at TTT would like to provide you great tournament experience and we can only do that with your help.

The door opens at 11a. You have 1 and a half hour to sign up for the games you want to compete in.

Please be considerate to everyone by getting to the venue on time.

We will certainly do our best to start everything by 1p as scheduled.

Stream Schedule

12p-2p: Soul Calibur V

2p-5p: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

5p-6p: SSFIV Top 4

6p-8p: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Top 8

8p-10p: Top 2 of KOF, Top 2 Teams of BBCS2:REVO, Top 3 MK, & Top 3 SCV

Singles will probably run by 6p the latest.

I'm sure you guys will have Top 2 Teams between 8p-9p just about ready for stream.

You guys can run Casuals after the singles. The space is yours to use for whatever.

Commentators:

Have to be approved by either me or Vince.

Everybody wants the Mic but only few can actually call out matches.

For Out-Of-Towners:

Please be mindful of the Stream Schedule. If you are really good and do become part of Top 8 SSFIV or Top 8 UMvC3. These will not start until after 7p. If you have to drive home and it takes 4-6hrs, I cannot help you get out faster, unfortunately.

2/3 in-game rounds and 2/3 sets of rounds make a single match for the singles tournament right?

From the way you worded it, it looks like that's the same format for each individual match-up in the 3v3 tournament.

Are you sure it isn't just P1 vs P4 in a 2/3 rounds 1 set match?

Told my parents about the event, might be able to come out. Don't know if I'll enter though.

Edit: I'm planning on entering, just need confirmation from parents.

Anyone still need a teammate for this/BBR? I'm coming to Gety Friday as well, but I need a team.
