I streamed it like the first week of release. It has two modes for teams. One is Waseda style, but doesn't automatically go to a second set like how tournaments go. You'll have to manually tell specific players to do another set. The other is a Survival where Team1_P1 fights Team2_P1, if Team1_P1 wins then he/she goes to fight Team2_P2 but with the HP he had left from the previous fight. It goes on until a team runs out of players with HP left.

After you change the team mode (host presses left or right on the room name bar) each player can press left or right to change their status from Red Team, Blue Team, or Spectator. Not everyone in the room has to play in the team battle. If they don't change their status they'll automatically go to spectator. Waseda Style has to be even numbers on the teams. The Survival one can be odd numbers, so you can do 5 v 1 if you want. Once the needed amount of people flag themselves to a certain team the host has to press the Start button to start the match. Everyone playing picks their character at the same time. Then you pick what order you want to be on the team. By default it goes to Undecided so it'll put you in whatever spot is available if you don't pick a number. All matches including Waseda is done one match at a time. So isn't any extra bandwidth strain on the host.
