Starkaiser Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I heard so many information about cross-platform but I m not quite sure if this is true or not. Some rumor says that it is future task that they couldn't yet do it.
Niko Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Whether or not cross-system play will be added later remains to be seen. The only official word I know of was on the European PlayStation blog -- somebody asked specifically if Vita can play vs. PS3, and this was the answer by Geraint Evans, the director of Arc System Works Europe: It’s Vita to Vita for online multiplayer. However, it is international – so it will match you with people worldwide. You can also transfer saves from PS3 to Vita, so you can play story mode on the move, and then switch your progress back to PS3.
Kurushii Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I own both the JP Vita and JP PS3 versions so i'll tell you the facts. Vita does NOT share the same lobby and ranked as PS3. They have their own. For the save data it transfers everything BUT: P$, trophies, and your online profile stats.
