Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I will admit the first series had a more convolted story. But idk i really liked it alot. Also the fact it had more dialogue than action, im ok with that. I prefer story and dialogue to action alot of the times. Anyway I love both XD

Mostly because I wouldn't have time for them so it slowly fazes out of mind and something new would take its place. the reason I dropped guilty crown is because they tried to cover up a something mediocre with mass amounts of funding... bleh. the reason I dropped Accel world is because you really don't have to watch it after the -SPOILER- "car crash" incident. They burn up all emotional flare during that, and showing all this herp derp fighting scenes afterwards makes me feel cheated
Chris Chaos Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 I can understand dropping Guilty Crown and Samurai Girls, those anime's bombed... But you dropped Shakugan no Shana by episode 6, you are missing out on some good stuff (Though I'll admit the 2nd season wasn't so hot...)

Not big on "illegally" watching them. And i prefer Dub thus lowering the amount That i can watch. I di plan to watch cowboy bebop, outlaw star, just started ghost in the shell. Its probally for the best that i dont get into anymore for now lol they get expensive to buy, and since i plan on getting the old batman animated series, batman beyond, and star trek voyager ima go broke lol XD But my fav anime/manga is Slayers, black lagoon, hellsing, Code Geass, trigun and Fullmetal. end ranty thingy magigy

Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 eh take no offense but i have no interest in that show. just not big on a main cast of little girls lol... or a young cast, really hard for me to relate to a bunch of 14 year old kids saving the world, but some time i can deal with it (soul eater,FMA, Dragonball, not Z). Lol im probally the big picky guy when it comes to anime.

I guess i just get annoyed with almost every character being some teenager in anime, especially when they get all fanservicy and stuff. I prefer a more adult cast, or late teens. In Blazblue for example i love the fact that the cast in mostly late teens or adults. with the exemption of rachel, carl, and plat. Now as much as i like carl and his game style, i cant stand that he is some whiny kid who cries alot. I would love to play as the guy, just for some reason i cant. ive always been like this even as a kid. When playing legend of zelda ocarina of time or Majora's mask, i hated being kid link, i wanted to be adult link cause i saw him as being cooler. Now not saying i wont watch/read an anime,manga,comic,animation with a younger character, its just harder for "relate" (still cant think of better word) to them Sorry if im not making sense, it makes sense in my mind lol. Maybe im just being stubborn who knows. i may give it a try, i mean i did see some gifs of one of the characters.( I think your old avatar blinky was one of them) and it seemed interesting.

I know exactly what you're talking about, in fact when I watch fan-service anime I have the idea in my head that characters are not really the age that they say they're like in everyday movies. If you ever do watch it, you'll find out that the op is misleading, and that its not a bunch of girls playing hero. These characters face painful misfortune, false realities, heart break, and even death. I should stop defending it >.<
