Due to that I won't be at NC this weekend, though I'll be back next week. There hasn't been an official announcement but we're likely looking at 8/4 for the next WCSP tournament.

I see, I was hoping that the event was taking place on 8/11 since P4U is coming out a few days after the original set date of the WCSP event (8/7) but if it's set in stone, then no worries. I'll still show up there on 8/11 to promote Persona 4: Arena and hopefully if my bro decides to come up here early, we'll have another player in our ranks.

I am going on both weekends because I will be able to afford it, but Persona is going to showcase on the 11th. I hope the 11th of August is enough time for people to make arrangements to show up. I know that some of the guys posting here and a few on the MM forums cannot make it out to Nickel City so I am willing to showcase the game @ Ignite if it's necessary but I REALLY want everyone to show up to Nickel City on the 11th if possible.

Callisto Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 The good news is I ordered a mixer and nice mics for my stream setup which should be here in time for the next WCSP, so we'll be looking for commentators, and the audio quality should be much better.

Chris Chaos Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 I've never played a Persona game and I have no knowledge of the series but this game has me hyped on the level of a 10 rank. BB: Extend had me at a 7 since I was the third iteration of Continuum Shift and it just got boring really fast.

Anyone up for a few games? Welcome to DL and welcome to the FGC in general! I play on PSN, but I do intend on getting a 360 around when P4U launches. Not sure how readily accessible transportation is to you, but I highly encourage going to any of the weekly gatherings we have for some good offline competition. Afaik, it's Ignite Monday nights in Chicago, Galloping Ghost Arcade Thursday nights in Brookfield, and Nickel City Saturdays way up in Northbrook. I know that Springfield is quite far south from here, but I believe there are few near your location. I've been really busy lately, and it's really hard to focus on anything gamewise with P4U looming just around the corner. I've also been pretty turned off by netplay with all the recent offline sessions I've been having so it might be difficult to find me. If you have any questions just ask away! Also if you have any other friends interested or that play feel free to bring them along.
