If you want to wallstick all day, then I say go for it. But there's much more beyond that. I don't think wasting tension is bad, just knowing when to use tension. I didn't say zoom to every combo when you get the chance either

He takes a few embarrassing losses recently, but I can see that it's due to him trying to adapt a new style.

Doren2k Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Basically when I loop i always try to get a knockdown. I only burn meter in loops at the end when it guarantees a wall mixup. Or when I know its gonna kill the opponent. Otherwise I just go for meterless loopz into kd in the corner.

Doren2k Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 THe Slash charge the one for the 214k is good for instant overhead. But its reallllllllllllllllllly unsafe on block unless you have 50% to RC it. But on hit you get free big combo and possibly wall combo if your close to the wall. I never use HS charge it seems useless in this game. Throw combo on bacon and may will be the same as everyone else just delay the followup. Throw FRC, S,2HS, 6HS, Delay the followup, dash in 2HS,6HS,HS x2.

After getting into Jam as much as I have (she's my main) I think she would benefit hugely from a command throw. Godzilla raping damage aside it would an incredible addition to her offense. What do you think?
xenophobian Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 until you give it more range than her normal throw i don´t see the point...you alreay have your brilliant normal throw that leads to anything you want if you invest 25% tension...and jam can burn tension everywhere she wants...i don´t know how much dmg. she can get of it in the corner, but it exceeds all the command throw dmg. (unless you FRC potbuster)...and a normal throw always has better properties than a command throw...no startup, no whiff animation(option select grants you a very short "whiff animation" that also attacks) but i´d love to have a aerial comboable command throw that gives knockdown (like aerial potbuster or shit)
Dark Vision Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 maybe sol's command is better too.. anyway, in the corner with frc u can get around 125 dmg and possible KD. btw i started now to play around with the ping pong loop(just made up that name) i saw in some of KAZU match ups. something like: yada yada. wall splat, 236s hs, s(jam's back to the wall) 2hs (1hit) FB (sending them to the wall again) 236s hs. now heres i think i can do the ping pong again, or go for one normal wall loop(s 2hs 6hs hs), or go for s© s(f) j.s j.p j.s jc dj.s j.hs 236k for now i think the most reliable is the third option(air combo), after of course i spent all my tension with FB in order to score dizzy... I mean really, that fucking retarded, i hit with counter 236s hs, or 236s s, and dizzy, can get... well.. dizzy. Even if in the start I am tensionless. it's really begone to become just a try to hit as many puff ball as can enter. really, retarded character :P
