Fullscreen charged sledge/6A is the most predictable thing in the world. It's not so much a mix-up as it is a way of seeing whether the Lambda has a pulse.

It took me a lot longer than I want to admit to find a fail safe way of dealing with charge B sledge. 6A is just mashing backdash.
