sinder Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Punishes: Punish blocked random ice cars with 5B. Their game plan: Lame it out Strategy: move in, or let them come to you. It's difficult for me to make a set gameplan for Jin because I have fought all types of Jin players who use different strategies. Some are more offensive, while others tend to be passive. If run away Jins spam ice swords, you can use ADA as a meat shield. If they rush in, you can use brio or 4D. They will probably use 2D on you when they get in that range, so be mindful of that too. Narcastic Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 many jin player uses rehyo to break C.ON situation, bait it with 5b or 5c and some late 6d for CH. jin j.b are unimaginable lame, those above, below, back and front hit was totally utter BS. dont fight back in the air, just do 6a but with exact timing. in a block string in the corner, if some jin player try to do j.b to your back (trust me, I did get hit from the back even though I was in the corner), quickly do vivase A before he finish the j.b animation and counter it with 5b or 2b. thats all (for now)
Akira-Shiro Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Vs Jin as stated above be mindful of IB if they IB our 5B & we try 2B a Dp is coming out best way to baint them is 2a 5a 2a 5a grab Brio during CON position this will keep any Dp character from mashin & make them respect our pressure. If the purple throw connects its a free 4k & if they break it they eat brio & u can use the frame advantage to come in close with micro-Dash (66)~2B if they Dp again it will either whiff or clash. Remember 2B's hitbox is not connected with carls so if they touch it u will never be effected. Also empy jump 6D 2a is useful to @ baiting.

There's a noticeable frame gap between 2/5A + anything even on regular block. The opponent can easily mash a DP between the 5A and the throw so that blockstring should be used with caution especially against super disrespectful opponents. Also, doesn't brio deactivate if the opponent breaks the throw?
