But, its RI so I'm not all that far away. I live up in Burrillville. I'd be down to play some offline matches though. My sched is usually pretty crazy so it can be hard to make it work. Also - if driving is an option for you, be sure to keep an eye on this thread and see when casuals are happening in MA/CT.

I managed to get my classes and stuff straightened out (meaning I'll be able to graduate this spring). I'll definitely be free to hang out with people next weekend possibly a little during the week as well.

(with them MB combos =D) I went to Minneapolis for a few days to get new ink and all I could think about was playing Melty. And while I remember exactly how much different playing real people was from grinding out execution in the lab with other games, I have been practicing. Timing issues are (mostly) gone. Now I just need to catch a few hundred beatdowns to bring back my fundamentals (esp. learning how to block) and tighten everything up. Definitely psyched to play again.

Found him through a friend who used to live in the Twin Cities, so I would see him when I went to see her. It's much more complicated now because he books-up, like, six months in advance. And it's hard to afford a tattoo and a plane ticket when I'm paid in chicken feed. This time I just saved for a long time and got three tattoos over the three days I was there -- which, I should add for posterity, is a little intense.

Random: Mindgam3, I found my old custom stick with a MAS-style bat-top, stiff springs, and a P360. It's yours if you want to play around with it. It's been collecting dust for nearly a decade.

Maybe that's just me, though I brought this up at casuals, but when it comes to generic links and such it isn't that much of a problem. Try doing repeated re-jump combos with Kagari, half the anything with Cait&Sith, and HD/Bloodheat/EXChaos combos that are worth the meter. It isn't like Slayer is in the game, or anything like that, right?
