The owner of the bakery called me to say that they couldn't afford a part-time baker right now. I am a part-time baker, so the news, which was a complete reversal from what I'd been lead to believe since December, caught me off guard and threw a rather large wrench into my plan for the year. I ended up on the highway driving much farther than I originally intended, somewhat lost in thought. Definitely should have called, though. Apologies.

Mike I have to say I don't like the new layout, I preferred the old one much better. I mean, the pro is that you can climb over the couch to get to the setup that you need, but the con is that it just...it's too cramped together. Set up in the corner was painful to be at.

We/Tales should bring another monitor, but the layout would work better if things were spread out slightly.

Gonna agree with Lazy and Katz - it could be spaced out a bit more. It probably can work if we slide things around a bit. Might help to reshuffle the TVs so that it's not biggest-to-smallest or such - that'd allow a more even distribution of players across the room.

If Tales brings his monitor too, though, then we'll have to find another spot for it (or just swap out the HDTV that had Tekken on it - I heard some saying it lags).

The one time I got past them I was so excited that I did that the Chin with the knife killed me from offscreen. It was my last life. I cried. Mike was there, it happened at the Battlegrounds. I'm so good at the combat in that game but that one spot just...UGH.

Wait for the topmost block to pop out then tear. Repeat at the second section. Sometimes I take a couple hits but I pull through consistently using this strat.

Didn't know enemies can through knives offscreen, that's a rough way to go.

Have you ever played the arcade version? I never had, so I'm going try setting up MAME to play it.

Okay, seriously, what the hell is your deal? I'm told you're only trolling because that's something you do, but there's two kinds of trolling, the kind where you mess with friends and say "lol jk bro, jus trollin" and the kind where you intentionally try to piss off people you don't know to see their reaction, and you're doing the latter, because I think there's maybe 3 people here you've met before, which is not tolerable behavior when you're trying to be accepted into the community you're doing it to. If you're actually trying to make friends and join the community with intentions of actually playing and enjoying fighting games, you really have to work on your social skills because you are oblivious to how we view you right now. If you don't change your attitude, or if you are serious and actually want to humiliate us rather than enjoy and practice games, then you are flat out not welcome at my place, and I doubt at anyone else's either.

For the record, since you've mentioned that you don't need to prove yourself because you were a good player 5 years ago, the fact is, you do have to prove yourself, because we can't take your word for it that you're still good. It's been five years, more than enough time to get rusty at GG, and no one here except maybe one or two people have ever played you, so we don't know for sure if you're still any good. Keep in mind that I defended you at one point, and actually kinda wanted you to play us, but every time you post, you're making it harder for me not to regret that, considering I told you in person that we might be able to forgive your bad first impression if you showed us that that's not the way you are, and so far it's like you've ignored me.

Generally speaking, Dustloop gives more freedom to posters in regional threads for how they communicate with each other, because player culture varies greatly from region to region.

Please refrain from further personal attacks or insults, it's become clear this is not a few friends joking around with each other.

If the problem persists, and anyone continues to make offensive replies, please use the report button to have it addressed, rather than including yourself with them in the group that gets banned.
