Pope Temmy Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Does the beginning of your August have a void that can only be filled by anime games? Then mark your calendars for the first Buckeye Airdash Cup! Buckeye Airdash Cup Vital Info Location: Arcade Legacy The Cincinnati Mall - 600 Cincinnati Mills Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45240 Date: August 4, 2012 Games List: (tentative) Skullgirls BBCSEX Guilty Gear AC Arcana Heart 3 Melty Blood AACC Hokuto no Ken (possibly on arcade) Vampire Savior (Arcade) (Tack onto this list P4A and Aquapazza if they are out in time for the event.) Stream: Will most likely be provided on the in-house Arcade Legacy set-up. Venue Fee: $10 This venue fee will also allow you to play all of the arcade games at Arcade Legacy for free all day long! I know that the month of August is already shaping up to be full of exciting events, but I'd encourage anyone who'd be interested in traveling to come out! I will be looking up hotels in the area of the venue and see who has the best prices for that weekend to try to help out anyone who is looking to travel from the farther reaches of the MidWest(and maybe beyond?) Anyone with further questions should try to contact me or my partner-in-crime Circuitous. Look for a thread update coming soon as more details are finalized, trying to make this the best event possible!
Pope Temmy Posted May 28, 2012 Author Posted May 28, 2012 Well, if the new GGAC is out by this event on consoles, or AL somehow magically gets it, you know we will run it at BADC. I'm also considering adding a kind of Mystery poverty tournament to this event also. If nothing else, just one game we'll run that will not be revealed till just before the event or day of, keep you on your toes.
Pope Temmy Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Alright, this is a serious question. If making this a Saturday-Sunday 2 day event will seal the deal on more of you guys coming, then I will make it happen. A few days ago Circuitous and I had a discussion and added a few games and to be honest to me, the list is looking more like a 2-day list than a 1 day list of games, if that makes sense. So, let us know and I will talk to the Arcade and see what I need to do to make this happen.
Circuitous Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 It'd probably be easier to cut games than make it a two-day event. Maybe next year, when we have more time to prepare.
