ok...so this has never happened to me before...i'm trying to download the latest filebank vidz...after all my boxes are checked and i click the gold download button, this japanese text window comes up with 2 buttons to choose from as its counting down...if i let it countdown my computer feels compelled to shut down...if i click on the left button, my computer shutsdown.....if i click on the right button or dont press anything my downloads don't start...so uhhh...whats the deal

i'm just uploading the 200612250001-0079 set at the moment, and i'll be downloading the 20061227 set that was just linked to.

For people like me who don't want to have to use internet explorer and some download manager to get files from filebank, here's how to do it with Firefox and DownThemAll!

First you want to change your DTA! settings to grab one file at a time.

Then log into filebank using the password and the randomly generated code it shows.

When you're in, click on this:

Pick the second option and click OK

Now you're set to download stuff. Click on the first file, then click on the download icon.

DownThemAll!... -> Save File

Then this pops up. The only thing to care about is the URL line.

Change the end of the line to include the files you want to grab. For example here it said fid=10807, that is the first file. So to download all 44 of the files I change it to fid=[10807-10850]. Click start.

Confirmation pops up to check you really want to grab all those files. Click ok and you're done.

What are you people's speed for downloading at FileBank? I get a constant of 1KB or something.

i usually get something between 15-20 "KCPS". I don't know what those units are, though -- it looks like "kiloC___ per second", and I have no idea what the C stands for.

Yeah I only get 1KCPS... WHY!?

I don't get more than 60kb/s per file with the direct download method. Using the filebank shit, it goes to 1kb/s after like, 10 minutes.

Could someone please re-upload the Dizzy CM called Another Story? It has already been requested here, but the link it was uploaded to is down already (well not down, but megaupload says that its no longer available due to people not using it blabla).
