Harass him with fireballs. They'll punish him if he tries to use 5D to cover his approach.

Do not mash 2B. He has a million ways to bait it. Roll through kunai and punish.

Dealing with his R-Action

His R-Action can be activated by anything, but only affects player characters. 5D>9 makes it whiff. You can also do a rising j.A to bait it and punish on the way down.

If Yosuke does Moonsault behind you after Dash Spring on block, you can jump back > CH air throw him. Also evades Mirage Slash if he tries that, then you can whiff punish it. Try to react though cuz Kunai will hit you for jumping here.

Block punishes vs Yosuke:

B+D whiff

- CH 214A

- FC 2C

A+B

- (dash) 5C

Dash Spring A/B/SB (after landing)

- 5B

Note: In crouch state during recovery.

Mirage Slash C/D

- (far) CH 5A

- (close) CH 5B

Note: In crouch state during recovery.

Garudyne

- CH 214A

- FC 2C

- (during flash) B+D/Ziodyne/Cross Slash

Brave Blade

- CH 214A

- FC 2C

I'll edit this if something's wrong or needs to be added.

Is Yosuke's R-Action triggered by truly everything?

Yep. Normals, specials, grabs, command grabs, instant kills, you name it.

How do you fight against his Tentarafoo move? I can't tell how to block and mostly attack them when Yosuke guesses the range wrong.

It's unblockable but it hits very low, you're supposed to jump out of it.

Punish it with CH 5C/214A or FC 2C. Wait til he waves his kunai down twice, that's around when the active frames end.

Baiting it isn't much different from other characters with counter type B+D, try to figure out common situations where they like to use it, if any. Like if you do a safe jump j.B, and they start deciding not to respect it and reversal B+D every time. Smarter players wouldn't resort to that often though since all you have to do to punish that is not do the j.B.
