Maelthorn Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 HOW. HOW DO I STOP IT? Seriously, I'm so confused. I can't block it. I can't jump on reaction even from across the screen. I can't seem to grab her either. I'm just totally lost as to how not to lose half of my health every single time. Some one, please come in here and cure my stupidity. EDIT: Don't say jump behind her. I hope to God that I'm not that stupid.
Zeik56 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 ...Jump behind her. Unless she's in the corner, then I'm pretty sure all you can do is time your jump right.

You can DP her after she swings, you can roll behind her, you can jump over her, you can block and punish, you can do anything you want. It's fully invincible while she's charging it, but if she does it at all outside of a combo she's just asking you to punish her for your highest damage combo.
Tari Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 If you're wondering about normal Labrys' BI (which is actually unblockable), just roll when the super flash happens. You're basically guaranteed to dodge it every time if you roll on the flash. Shadow Labrys, on the other hand, you can just block. If the Labrys is fully cornered, it's a bit harder to roll or jump behind her, but since normal Labrys has to sit there charging her super for the full duration, you can just jump away from her. C super won't reach far enough to punish you jumping away, and D super takes so long that you'll land and be able to roll through it when it actually happens.
Maelthorn Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 But the speed at which she moves to react with a jump after the super goes off seems improbable. Unless I just have terrible reaction time. Now understanding that it only moves in a straight line, and not behind her it makes it much more simple to get around. But if it starts when I'm at the other end of the screen I still feel like I'm at a loss. Can I block it when I'm crouched? Because I was crouch blocking the last time and " !! " showed up and it hit me.
Diveman Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 You can block it however you want, maybe you pressed something or tried to jump. But seriously, just block it, its not even OMCable.
Ryudrake Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I just 2x jump/air dash over it. As I land I land an attack which would lead to a combo that she has to eat. That or just instant kill since they're pretty much invincible as well.
Diveman Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 But what's wrong with blocking it?????? I don't get it, unless its too hard to punish if blocked?
Urichinan Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 But what's wrong with blocking it?????? I don't get it, unless its too hard to punish if blocked? It's incredibly easy to punish. Another thing to note is that only the B version moves fullscreen, and it has to be charged before it will activate. You have to wait until the initial charge is finished before you can choose to release it or charge it more. So you have forever and a day to do whatever you want. The A version doesn't go anywhere either. You actually have time to run up to her and push her as far into the corner as you can if you aren't fullscreen. You can block it standing, crouching or jumping as well. It is never unblockable and it can always be punished on block because it can't be OMC or OMB'd.
FunkyP Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 "I dont know how to avoid S.Lab's BI,and don't tell me all the ways to avoid it because I'm not gonna do it." in terms of best situation, definitely block it. if you are fullscreen block it, hell if you are fullscreen run up to her and block it just incase. If she's doing A version BI which is pretty damn fast you block it or roll it, you can't jump post flash because it'll catch you in the air, and jumping behind is also risky as it covers over her head.
Tari Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 For the normal Labrys stuff, I said C and D, but it's actually A and B. Got the letters/buttons wrong somehow, sorry. All the info on how to deal with it is correct, though.
