About the front page, these are my suggestions: Center the logo, make it bigger, add a slogan. Something that lets people know immediately what kind of info is here. Remove everything from the top bar that does not pertain to useful information. It should really only be stuff like Home, Wiki, Forums, Tournament Calendar, Video Databases/Media Section, Tip Submission, and Search on the front page bar. It keeps it from being cluttered with things only signed up users really care to see. You could steal Shoryuken's idea and put matchmaking on there too. Make the "Home" section of the top bar a drop down menu with Categories, Tags, Trending, and Highest Rated/Most Viewed articles options. Remove the login button from the front page. Again, it's related to the forums, which are not a part of the front page. Condense the width of the page. Right now it's stretched too far and it looks very weird because of it. The design itself is very outdated. It definitely needs modernizing. A smoother design, a little darker colors (The white on beige has always been a little taxing on the eyes). and cleaned up articles/sidebars would go a long way. Articles need to share the same height and width. Article icons should always be on the same side (The left), in the same position, with the same size. Article headers should be larger The article text on the front page should only be a sentence or two before it gets cut off. As it is right now MOST of the article is actually on the front page. Remove the star rating system. It looks a little old. Side bars I think should be along the lines of: Tournament News, Upcoming Events, Currently Streaming, Facebook/Twitter/Twitch, etc. I'd remove everything related to forums, users, and posts. I could think of more things, but I figured this'd be enough lol Don't mean to sound too demanding or overbearing, but IMO there really is a lot that needs to be done to bring it up to par.

If something like this is actually possible, this would be the easiest way to organize threads. Do away with all the matchup sub-forums and replace it with a single sub-forum for all matchups and use a search function to get to them quickly. As far as content and needing to sift through information goes, there's already nothing in them, so I can't imagine even with these changes there would be too much to look through. Organization of the threads is the only thing I think could become an issue, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

This is not specifically related to the front page discussion and goes more along with the earlier topic of generating more reasons to post and interreract with each other, but combining matchup threads for both characters is something that has been discussed once before and I think needs to be revisited. Instead of there being a Ragna vs. Jin thread in Ragna's board and Jin vs. Ragna in Jin's, there's just a Ragna vs. Jin thread for both parties. It encourages players from both sides to actually discuss the matchup from both points of view and also helps generate more activity within the threads. Just thought I'd bring this back up while we're all at it.

GGs to everyone I've played over the past 6 months. Been nice having people to fight still.

It's all about timing the air dash j.HS > P Dive right. On some characters you have to do it early, some late, some you have to change P Dive timing on. For Ky, you do the air dash kind of late, and the j.HS early, then immediate P Dive > S Dive. Also, on a different note, I've spent basically all day working on throw RC side switch combos that are consistent and work on lots of characters. So far, I've tested these on Faust, Ramlethal, and Slayer and confirmed they work: (Back to corner) Throw RC > Dash S STBT > j.P > j.S > j.HS > S Dive > c.S > sj.S > j.HS > P Dive > AD j.S > j.HS > K Dive Tested on Slayer and Faust. Double P Dive ender might be possible, but I wasn't able to get it after 30-40 min of trying. Buffer the dash during the RC animation, and do STBT as soon as possible. If you do it correctly, STBT will cross under and hit them into the corner. (Back to corner) Throw RC > sj8.AD > 5K > j.S > j.HS > S Dive > c.S > j.S > j.HS > P Dive > AD j.HS > P Dive Tested on Slayer and Ramlethal. The damage is slightly lower, but you get better oki. The timing on this one is a lot harder, but still doable. The trick here is to super jump as early as possible, slightly delay your air dash, and then land into 5K on the other side of the opponent. The timing is really tricky, because if you air dash too early you won't cross over them, but if you do it too late, she'll be too high and won't land in time for 5K to juggle. It takes some time, but it's not the worst. I've found that both of these are much more reliable than the Throw RC > Dash~AD FFVCL route, but the reward is not as great.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=CsSvxUOgMkk These are the best I've found so far. Not 100% certain the corner one works on everyone, as I haven't tested.

Is this the display name, or the username? I typed this into the Skype search bar, but the only thing that turned up was a real guy's name and no avatar. I want to make sure it's you. Also, I've sent everyone who messaged me their contact info so far a request, so make sure you accept it and I'll add you. If you haven't received a request from me yet, let me know.
-
Yes. Send me your Skype username and I'd be glad to add you. That goes for everyone, if anyone would like to be added to the Skype chat let me know. You can contact me on Twitter (@Urichinan) as well as on here. I regularly check Twitter, so I'll get it there sooner than here, but this is fine too. We really need more people to join! There's only about 5 people right now, so it'd be nice for there to be some more discussion going on.

Looks like Main has been implemented into the game: Also, for any of you who are interested, I have made a Skype group for E's Laf. Send me a PM on here or message me on Twitter (@Urichinan) if you'd like to be added. So in my video I forgot to cover God Hand OMC and CH DP combos. God Hand > OMC > 5B > 5C > 2B > j.2C > j.214B works, but the 5C has a funky timing. If you have trouble with it you can do 2B(1) > 5B > 5C > j.2C > j.214B. CH DP > j.2C > TK j.214B is the BnB, it's important to note that they can air tech after j.214B here. For Hassou Tobi CH DP > j.2C > dj.B > j.C > j.214A+B > Hassou Tobi is 4k-ish I believe.

j.2C auto-corrects after 2B. If she goes behind them, all you have to do is dj.214B after j.2C. It's easy.
-
Mid-Screen hit 5D > 5B > 5C > 2B > j.2C > j.214B works. The further away you are, the harder it is to land 5B, so just omit it and go straight into 2B. It's insanely easy to confirm 5D hits, and there should be zero problem comboing after it, unless they are the absolute other side of the screen. In the corner you should always be able to get 5B > 5C > 2B. CH 5D > Dash 2C (No dash in the corner) > 2D > j.22C > Dash j.214C > 2B > j.2C > j.214B is a pretty standard CH combo.
-
Yes, you can throw the opponent into 22C hits. You can even combo off the 22C if you do 22C > Immediate back throw in the corner. It's really hard and impractical to get the combo off 22C here, but it does work.
-
Stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xM3V2gRuRFY j.214B forces ground tech if you do it low enough. It's best to omit long air strings and just go j.2C > j.214B it seems. j.2B seems like a decent-ish ender as well.

I know this was asked a while ago, but I just noticed this. AA 3B > j.B > j.C > 2C > 3C > 66B > 623A > 5A > 3B > 214B > 2C > Ender works as well. Does a little more damage than the j.214A > 623A route, corner carries more, and also works from slightly further away. It's a good deal harder though.

2A > 5B > 8C > 2A+B > (8C Hits) Dash under j.B > dj.A > j.214A > 214C (2411 DMG from 2A) is the best combo to use when 5B > 5C > 2A+B > 5C Hits will not corner carry. There's also 5A/2A > 5B > 8C > 2A+B > (8C Hits) 7j.2B > Dash j.B > dj.A > j.214A > 214C which is 2721 DMG from 5A (300 more than the 5AAA > Hop combo) but is much harder than the previous and more spacing dependent on Asterius. Though still worth learning IMO. Still messing around. I'll post more findings later.
