Well shit. Well, assuming I don't get a PS4 soon, at least that'll give me extra incentive to get psn+ (albeit temporarily if I don't have a ps4).

PS4 is up and running too, haven't tried any online vs obviously. At least this time they have a more valid reason (someone hacking their console) as opposed to tearing down videos of story mode and OST like they did with BB, even though the people that posted it bought the damn game.

Hm... as a creator of story mode/OST i would be pretty pissed if one person bought that thing and then offered for free for everyone. Hard work should be valued....

Ah but surely the OST is readily available to anyone and everyone at a given time for a reasonable price...oh wait, no it isn't. If I sound too aggressively sarcastic, I apologize. I do not condone outright stealing/ripping content from the creators simply for the sake of not paying them. It's why I still bought that BBCP LE, even though it ultimately proved to be of poor quality (CD not working and the blu-ray disc being faulty). It's just, if you're not going to be reasonable with your product, then you give no incentive for your other customers to be patient. Although curiously, Xrd seems to be the exception. It's almost like they foresaw the delays happening and offered the English patch to the importers. I'm still surprised this actually happened.

Technically speaking, Arc are within their rights to be taking down story footage. For one, since the story is mostly kinetic without real player input, it technically does not count as transformative media so fair use doesn't really apply to anything more than a 30 second clip. Secondly, fair use doesn't actually exist in Japan and the game is Japanese so you can't actually use fair use to protect video footage of it.

I'm ok with DLC as long as its not "Disc Locked Content" Shoryuken is starting to piss me off with their incorrect info. They add updates to it but still leave the headline wtf!? Its been bugging me. The last thing this game needs is negative attention. I just looked at my join date and holy crap I've been playing GG for a while. I took a break but damn GGXRD has been awesome and is a proper sequel I've been waiting for even if none of my mains are in,

So, there probably was a street date... US release of this game is such a chaotic affair, I hope it doesn't affect the sales. Still better than Europe though.

If it gets cranked, when that player eventually gets hit they can take big damage.

Tried to test wakeup supers but the super never goes down even if i get hit out of it. Then tried to do super -> YRC at 50 meter and it works, just taking the 25 meter for YRC.

TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Depends on the super. Dragon Install, for example, has a relatively long, YRC-able startup before superflash. So the longer pre-flash startup is, the more time you have to YRC.

Speaking of which, there's a rumor we might get a European release of GGXrd similar to BBCP at the same time as Leo's release : No advertisement, just the game thrown on PSN without any European language translation, no retail version and a tweet from Arcsys saying "the game is out in Europe, now f**k off enjoy !" It's still a rumor, though. I haven't seen it anywhere else than on Facebook posts and non-reliable websites.
