I know it's ryu's sprite from SFIII......and I know it's mugen, but how on earth did they get ryu to perform one of seans moves (the one where sean gets on top of the person and slams his fists into their face)?

Are you going to tell me that SF doesn't have invincibility frames and unblockables? Hell, your beloved Ryu has an unblockable in multiple games. Not that unblockables are even broken to begin with, as they're all avoidable (if they're not avoidable, THEN they're broken, besides which that's a character specific issue (fucking eddie ><) and not a GG system issue, GG does not have universal unblockable frame traps) and are you fucking complaining about invincibility frames? Don't you know who started those??? Ever heard of a goddamn shoryuken? GG is NOT broken, Eddie is, but GG's system is not, and therefore Sol standalone is not broken. He just has more tools (none of which are broken) at his disposal than characters from more simplistic games. And instant kills are the opposite of broken. I'll literally give you a thousand dollars and a handjob if you land an IK on me. Try it. Go ahead and be a SF fanboy but at least don't be an ignorant asshole about it. God I can't believe I waste my time on some people.

It takes about a minute considering sean's already practucally a ryu sprite edit. He also has edited Gouki and Ken sprites.

Some cool Stages I wanted to show you all some reason o.o. dunno. i like Ken. Melty blood Stage, redone. in-game it looks nice. Cool sorta atmosphere.
2nd_God Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 heh.. crap i dont think i even have that ryu.. on that latter tho, those stages are pretty phat! also.. ---- @ Rift - (i mainly play ggxx so im not too familiar if this also works with the other games) but next time you feel the necessity to explain how ik modes are impossible to land.. try this in game.. select Millia Rage Opening move, go strait into IK Mode (you'll take damage, but its xx, so if they arnt mimicing you theres no way they can drop your life bar to 0 second you get a chance to land an attack, use a 3 hit, standing (or ducking jab[punch]), then a standing slash.. then the forward/running Heavy slash that knocks them to the ground.. befor your frames disperse (and after connecting) begin motion for the instant kill (double fireball motion forward) and complete technique just as your frames end.. Millia will begin preforming the Ik.. and since its millia's Ik and so very close range, NO CHARACTER (except for the exception of kliff i've seen) will be able to block in time with they're delayed frames during stand befor her IK will land. and so i dont have to remind you later.. And instant kills are the opposite of broken. I'll literally give you a thousand dollars and a handjob if you land an IK on me. Try it. YOU posted that.

You do know that Millia's IK is completely blockable? Just hold back while getting up or at any time. Oh, and Millia's IK is homing, not close range. If anything, it's far-range, because it takes the same number of frames to activate, regardless of where the opponent is. The only character who has near-guaranteed combos into stun -> IK is Eddie, and even those are situational. Possibly May as well, but those are less practical. Of course, this is all considering that you are playing against a decent opponent who knows what they are doing. If you're talking about the cpu, then arguing about the brokeness of IKs is pretty pointless because the cpu is pretty retarded anyway.

2nd_God Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 not broken.. no.. its 5p(or 2p), 5s, 6h (3 hit combo) /edits - wait maybe its a 4 hit and you have to tap the first attack twice also, in xx, you get frame delay to stand execpt for character specific action. thats why if they are caught in millia's special when they begin stand, they'll more than likely NOT be able to block... (try's it with your feet.. hold block the whole time!, hell even practice mode, set bot on block)

Since Millia's IK does not activate DURING super freeze, you can completely block it on reaction to seeing the screen freeze. This goes for every single non-throw IK in the game, as well as 99% of all supers in the game (Order-Sol's Savage Fang and Slayer's Dead on Time are exemptions, possibly one or two others). This is in AC; in GGXX, no super/IK had this property. Not to mention that if you were blocking while getting up before the freeze, you'd be able to block anyway. Try it and you'll see, this is pretty basic stuff. And no, there is no way to combo into Millia's 6H on the ground, aside from a 6P CH.

Rift Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 It's impossible for MUGEN to be broken, it's just a basic engine. 80% of MUGEN characters are broken, but 20% are gold. Just use those nice balanced 20%, or balance the others yourself. BTW wasn't Big Bang Beat made with the MUGEN engine?

Well....that's the thing....you can't just mix up a bunch of characters imported from a bunch of different games if you don't properly balance them. Something that "mugenites" seem to over look.... Remember what happened to Capcom Fighting Jam?

Mugen-infantry maybe. Christmas Haruhi was released. nothing special. and nothing really else to report to you all.
