[Austin, TX, 8/30 SSFIV:AE] Pixels Presents: Hometown Throwdown, Tournament Edition!

Hometown Throwdown is returning to Kickbutt Coffee Music and Booze on August 30th for a Super Street Fighter IV tournament! There's no fee to get in the door, and no fee to play in the tournament.

But since we're not satisfied with just one event, we’ve also asked our friends GIMMICK!, our favorite video game cover band, to come and play their particular brand of retro hard rock for us.

If you haven’t heard them before, they rock out pretty hard, and they’ll be playing a set for the express purpose of making our tournament that much more awesome.

The details:

• In-Person Sign ups start @ 7:30pm. First come, first served.
  
• Tournament starts @ 8:30pm.
  
• GIMMICK! goes on @ 10:00pm.
  
• Finals @ 11:00pm. Winner crowned immediately after.
  

No cover at the door, and no entry fee for the tournament, and happy hour specials all night long!
