EDIT: Turns out risky score attack is old score attack, so here's something I learned for junpei

He starts with bases loaded and 9 runs.

Really? Considering the high level of bullshit of Score Attack I thought he would start with 99 runs.

It would be fitting, considering P4A's Score Attack has Yukiko with Perma-Fire Break, Lv8 from the start and throwing 3 fans at once, for example.

Yeah, which is also in P4A's score attack. Lv3 Power Charge too.

Man, I hate Score Attack. They obviously made it the only way to unlock some navigators so that people would buy them.

I wonder if there's a secret boss at the end just like how Liz was the first game's secret boss.

I saw path A's route, the mystery fighters are normal sho and Liz. I believe sho had some power to inflict rage :/

Man, I hate Score Attack. They obviously made it the only way to unlock some navigators so that people would buy them.

That's one way to look at it. Another is that ASW and/or ATLUS suck at finding ways to challenge the player but also make it fun. I get what they were going for (absurdly high stakes and difficulty akin to the MegaTen games) but those were RPGs and not fighters. In those you could plan ahead and spend time grinding at another location to best the next challenge. But there's no planning to be involved in Score Attack since the AI is pretty random, despite having certain obvious tactics.

I tell you, P4A Score Attack would in no way be so difficult if we had ways to actually continue from where we left off. Highest I ever got to was Yu and it sucks seeing my Lizzie burn down simply because I couldn't react on one move. Sure, people later recommended the pause trick to make it a bit easier but that doesn't do much of anything. Hopefully P4U2's Score Attack routes are a bit easier on the fingers and controllers.

Score Attack in P4A was fun for only your Main in my opinion. I felt like i could only beat it with Teddie because that's who i used. I also beat it with Kanji but it's easy with command throws but he did make Liz look like a complete joke

Hopefully P4U2's Score Attack routes are a bit easier on the fingers and controllers.

Seeing how Unlimited Mars is even more batshit ridiculous in CP, I have the feeling score attack will only get more sadistic than its predecessor.

Ironically, I got to Narukami, and got straight bodied. The first time I tried, I got to Chie, and died in 1 combo. Even when you play against the CPU, the Elizabeth struggle is real :v:.

I cant remember how far I got, but I remember getting straight up murdered everytime I played with Aki.

Who'd win in a fight? Unlimited Liz or CT Unlimited Ragna?

CT U.Ragna didn't have Instant kills and a full healing super.

Also, yes it would be neat if you could play with the unlimited (or awakened) characters...though they'd have to balance things a little bit in that case.

I dunno about CP in CSE there's the regular Score Attack and Unlimited Mars. And Score Attack in CSE is piss easy compared to P4A's.

The only character I ever beat score attack on was Elizabeth. Once you reach Chie, it seems that taking any counter hit super will kill you instantly. Narukami is indeed the hardest opponent; I can't remember how many times I got bodied by him before I finally won. The secret is pretty much spam maziodyne, and when the CPU gets 50 meter, stop and wait because they will pretty much always just throw out a super right then. Not gonna lie though, simply mashing 5C over and over did me wonders vs. Narukami and Liz, for some reason they just didn't feel like blocking it at all and they ate tons of counter hits.

I am certainly interested to see what they come up with for the new characters in score attack.

Oh son of a...that's just plain dirty. Now I am convinced ASW and ATLUS just want to see how much until we bleed frustration. Remember that Pause Trick I mentioned? Well guess what this guy just made obsolete and worthless.

-Rapid fire, fully charged (3) arrows per shot.

-Always home in on you without the assist from the Persona.

-Full-screen Magarula.

-Tosses out more parachute bombs than normal.

-Furious Action Covers the full screen.
