MegaGrandTale Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Depending on how far Teddie's ending of his auto combos pushes the opponent and the start up of Teddie's air bearscrew B, i don't think his FC mid screen is gone. His old one put him and the opponent in the air + his new auto combo is jump cancelable. If a tiger knee motion is fast enough, then Teddie might not go full screen with his bearscrew like he does on the ground. Only difference is using his auto combo to start instead of the bat.

It can make reaching air characters like Yosuke easier to hit and can be used to increase the air time of Teddie when mixed with his item throws. Plus it makes Kintoki Douji safer against getting hit + making it even more random since Teddie will fall down afterwards and the item will take longer to come out. Based on the item thrown it can make for delayed hits that can catch the opponent off guard.
